I'm a Sagittarius and the connection is definitely better with a Leo. There is just amazing chemistry with a Leo. Leo's are more romantic and loyal. My man of 6 years is a Leo and he's the best thing that ever came into my life. I love the fact that he's a Leo. He requires a lot of attention from me, but I love giving it to him. He also loves the spotlight, but I'm the type where I don't care about being the center of attention. I just let him have the spotlight. I could list so many things that I love about him and his personality. All that I know is that we are soul mates and best friends and we both think our signs play a big factor!
I'd have to say Leo, but the only reason is that I don't seem to come across very many Aries people. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

I like Leos more.. they seem to be so warm, friendly, and so funny. Every one I've met seems to have a very good wit. If that makes sense. As for Aries.. I find them to be too immature, reckless, and somewhat self-centered. Also, a little too social for my taste. Not enough time for me :[
I like Aries peope better. I like the way they talk so forthrightly. They don't mince words and come straight to a point. I trust Aries people. I like Leo people too, but not on a long term basis. I find that they are also courageous in their social interactions, which I admire; but they seem to be too self-absorbed and attention-seeking. I am a Sagittarius but I have an Aries midheaven. Perhaps, that has something to do with why I like Aries people more, in general.
I am a Sagittarius, December 5th. I feel a better connection with an Aries. As a typical Sag, I get bored easy. The Aries keeps me on my toes and thinking (they are usually a bit of a challenge to get into a relationship as well), as most Sag's would rather have the intense physical relationship along with the mental stimulation. The Leo is too romantic and touchy for me, too many dreamy wonders, rather than a "give me the facts" kind of that of an Aries.
Aries! They fuel each other's fire, energy and can keep up with each other. Sag and Aries can truly understand each other inside and out.
Depends who the person actually is.
