I believe in psychic but I don't think that their abilities are to see everything. Just because someone is pychic doesn't mean that they know everything that's going to happen. The gift they have is supposed to help. Not to make people rich.
Their psychic abilities are limited. Most psychics use tarot cards to along with their psychic abilites to see a more clear picture. While others just pin point things head on. And, just so you know there a lot of honest psychics that don't claim they can make you win the lottery and so on. If one does say this then you know their a fake!!! Great question though!

I ask myself that too, sometimes......I don't charge people when I read their cards, my friends just ask me to do it and whatever I tell them always ends up happening, exactly how I see it. If every 'psychic' knew lottery numbers, there wouldn't be much in the pot to take...we'd probably go home with a couple hundred dollars or so lol. We can only "see" whatever we're shown or told. And we can't mess with fate...It really is a great experience...I can understand why some people don't believe in it. I do it for fun and everytime I predict something, it always happens specifically how I explained it would. Weird....but fun :)
There is no such thing as the power/ability to predict the future. These people live on the emptiness of some people, who need to hear how they life will be so that they can feel they have a purpose in this world.
It is several different factors actually. I think that there is a gigantic misunderstanding of what exactly a psychic is. It is not like a movie camera that is roving in your head that is giving you bits and bits of data at all times from the whisperings of the universe. You get glimpses and images usually when you are asked a question or someone comes to you for help or assistance. You often cannot just draw up information like a dowsing rod, because if that was able to be done, we would not be called psychics we would be called "Gods".
Further, there are different types of psychic talents. One can be clairvoyant, or you can be clairaudient, another can be a telepathist, or clairempathic. There are even some very gifted mediums that are around. All do different things, and I doubt any of them really have any interest in psychically probing Yolanda Vega the lotto lady.
