You grew up in the same house... so you probably inadvertently are attracted to the same colours as your mother. Subconsciously, you probably also wear the same colours as your mother when the weather's a particular way (ie bright colours when it's overcast or pastel colours in Spring). It's the old nurture/nature question.

It just happens just because you like those colors just like your mom or you get used to what she wears most of the time and your just like your mom......you inherit something from her.......
