Question: my fiance was born on june 10th and im october 20th arent i in the cusp and what exactly is that? i dont know all about the signs and different things depending on when we were born so if someone could explain to me and let me know a bit about our relationship? thanks so much!!

Well, gemini and libra are both air signs and are part of what's called the "grand trine" of the element of the air: Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. In other words, that's a very good thing that you are both air signs and are in the same element. Focus on that and you should do just fine.
Now, it's interesting to note the each sign represents each month, or close to each month, of the year. Gemini is June, Libra is October, etc.... A lot of people don't know this, but each sign is broken down into what I believe are called "decades", which are the 3, ten day periods of each month. Each decade represents an influence from another sign of the same element. So, as I said before, it's interesting to note that you, as a Libra on the 20th, are of the last "decade" of Libra, meaning you have an influence, or share, qualities of none other than Gemini!!!
In other words, if you were born in the first ten days of Libra, you would be purely Libra. The second ten days would have an influence and share, or possess, qualities of Aquarius, in addition to being a Libra. And the third or last ten days of Libra would also tend to be slightly like a Gemini.

You should also check and see what sign your Mercury and Venus are in. Knowing the sign that the sun was in, Libra and Gemini, is good when matching your egos. But you also want to know what the two of you face intellectually - Mercury and in your love life - Venus. Hopefully, they'll also be in Libra and Gemini, respectively since these two planets always follow very closely to the same as, or never more than a sign away from the sun sign in question.
You can check the location of the other planets in your chart by going to a book called an "Ephemeris". an Ephemeris will tell you the exact sign each planet, along with the sun and moon (the luminaries) was in at the time of your birth. Usually an ephemeris only shows the symbol for each sign, so you might have to print a copy of a page from an online ephemeris (pdf file, see link below) and match it up to the symbols on a good astrology website. A good astrology website will give you descriptions of, say, Mercury in Libra and Venus in Gemini, along with the common descriptions of your sun signs sun in Libra and sun in Gemini.
And remember: a wise person rules the stars, a fool is ruled by them. In other words, let your free will and knowledge rule your life and not the subtle influences from planets millions of miles away. Like you said, you know you like each other, you're engaged for goodness sakes!!! Knowing more about each other is only meant to help.
