Why do people not acknowledge Aquarius as a zodiac sign?!
Question: Every time I pick up a book on the zodiac signs, astrology or horoscopes I find that many are off on Aquarians. Like there still trying to decode the sign. I’ve also told people my sign if they asked and was looked at like they never knew about it. Is it that less people are born under this sign or are acentric personalities so different that no one gets us?

I have to say I strongly dissagree.
Most people who don't acknowledge Aquarius as a sign are people who have limited to no knowledge in Astrology. Most people hardly know anything about Astrology, and aren't interested in any sign but their own. So if they aren't an Aquarius or aren't interested/knowledgeable in astrology, it won't be likley that they know much about it.
Secondly, I would say Aquarius has gotten a LOT of attention, more so than most signs, in a sense. Have you ever heard that song "The Age of Aquarius"? Supposedly we're switching into a new Astrological Age, each age is about 2,000 years long, and we're currently in the Age of Pisces. It's switching to the Age of Aquarius, though. Some have decided it's Already the Age of Aquarius, and others say it won't happen for another 150 years or so. Despite all that, because of this upcoming change, people have given a lot of attention to Aquarius.
I don't think there are any less people born in Aquarius than any other zodiac sign. There may be statistical information showing that currently there are more Aquarians in the world than any other sign, but that would be sure to change with time. It isn't permanent, and there is no sign that is more rare than the others.
Also, Aquarius is the sign that rules Astrology.

well im wondering why some books says that aquariuses are close minded and some says aquarius are open minded? each book says somthing different about aquariuses, but i know 6 aquariuses and they all close minded, and i think that they don't describe the aquarius personality correctly becouse aquariuses won't like it

by the way i have read in many zodiac books there is going to be a HUGE good change for us in feb.
I think it is because we Aquarians are so multi-faceted, and so complex nobody can ever figure us out, not one Aquarian is like another. so the books do often get it wrong, I thnk the stable side of my personality comes from the Capricorn in me, I was born on the cusp, and my Aquarian side is a rollercoaster.
We just don't fit any labels they can give us.
I'm also Aquarius and a cusp child (Jan. 22) we are very difficult to understand. We are also very stubborn. I guess that's why being in a relationship is kinda hard for some because of how picky we can be. I've also noticed that we are very independent.
don't know what you're talking about. everyone is aware that aquarius is a sign. no they're no more ECCentric than the rest.
I'm pretty sure it is because there aren't as many Aquarians as there are other signs. I need a lot of Pisces and Scorpios. And number two no one understands us. That's why we need space because no matter how much we try and explain our personalities no one gets us
well excuse me! I am a scorpio, been with aqua boy for nearly three years and he is one who I will never get tired of. like yes, it's true aquarius might at times become a little aloof and make people crazy (he does it all the time, but I dont get crazy anymore), but they dont do it on purpose, they always mean well. They are strong and they extremely social with everyone. I love my sign the most, but I do truly admire aquarius everyone that talks crap about them are just jealous they cant be popular with people. If you take your time and get to know them you will learn allot about everything and anything and coming from a scorp, thats allot since I always know it all.

It appears that when it comes to Zodiacal Sun Sign qualities in their presidents, citizens of the USA have tended to somewhat favor the Zodiac Sun Signs of Scorpio and Aquarius; each with 5. Tide!
Least favorite are the Zodiac Sun signs of Aries, Gemini, and Virgo; each with only 2.
They do, It's just that aquarians just don't have anything outstanding about them that makes people notice them. Many aquas I know are close-minded and blend too easily into the crowd.

Firs off, let me just say to "incredibly misunderstood", you sound really jealous. Everything you've said that we're not, we are. I don't necessarily agree with the asker though, It seems that we actually get the most attention. Really, think about it. I do agree that it is hard for people to really get me. I am VERY picky when it comes to relationship also.
Hmm, that's an interesting question. I've never noticed it before, maybe because I'm into astrology and I give each sign equal attention. Well that's a lie, I give Aquarius a lot of attention because I seem to be drawn to them (Im a Leo). I don't think it's that less people are born under the sign, I'm not really sure what it is. But most Aquarians I know, and I know a lot, don't believe in astrology. They don't believe in a lot of things to be honest, so maybe they're role in astrology isn't as played up because they're just not interested in it? I don't know... I think I understand Aquarians quite well, I have an Aquarius moon, and I love them. Although stubborn and over opinionated at times, they're friendly, freedom loving people and I respect that.
