There's a lot more to it than sun signs, first of all. I'm an Aquarius female, who's had an experience with an Aquarius male, and it was very interesting...
He tended to talk a LOT. It didn't bother me, but I did have to wonder. xD I can say that in this case, it was definitely true what they say- it will be like finally meeting someone with the same interests, almost like looking in a mirror, because you know just where they're coming from.
But other things came into play. When he made advances, I turned him away because while there might have been a spark, it wasn't nearly enough to warrant kissing or touching or anything like that, for me.
I think love depends a lot more on the moon sign, because mine is in Taurus, which definitely explained what happened in that encounter. There may have been a mental connection- which may have been enough for him, but there wasn't a deep emotional connection. I don't know what his moon sign is, but I'm almost sure it was in a conflicting sign.
That said, we're still friends, and it's completely platonic! In my opinion, the typical Aquarian makes a better friend than a lover... unless you're both on the same page! (because not all Aquarians are the same.) :)
I'm an Aquarius 2, and so far I've meet some Aquarius girls and dated some too. i think we are too alike, its kind of weird, like we both knew we where alike. so it kind of just died off, that's the Aquarius girls I've meet. but there is an exception to this, there are some that could actually work, i meet this Aquarius girl that has the same characteristics as Aquarius, ex... I'm a musician and she is a art major, stuff like that, but we both had something in common. its hard for Aquarius to be together, but not all Aquarius are alike, so may be it could work.
All the horoscopes I've read have said that aquarius people are good matches, but not the best. They would be compatible, but just because this is the case does not mean you don't have to work on your relationship.
