What does it mean to have your venus at a critical degree?!
Question: They say venus has a strong influence on the types of friends, relationships, and love you encounter, so If it's in a critical degree, then how would this influence aspects of my life ruled by venus? In your opinion?
It's at 0 degrees cancer in the eighth house, opposition uranus and saturn.

From what I understand, having a planet at a critical degree in one's birth chart indicates an area of the person's life/aspect of the person's being which will eventually through the influence of a transiting planet to said natal planet need to be transformed. It's called a "critical" degree because it basically ends up being a "do or die" (not literally, I hope, lol, but I suppose it's possible) situation in which the native *must* alter and adapt their behaviour patterns as the old and more familiar ones to them no longer work.
Now, as far as your 8th house venus in cancer goes, you could be experiencing that transit right now with Pluto transiting in your 2nd conj. your Uranus/Saturn conj. and opposed your Venus. Are the things that you used to think were important and valuable in in sexual relationships no longer seeming as important to you, or do the patterns which you tend to follow regarding this seem to lack resonance with you as you are now? Is it possible that you could be becoming more serious about and also more rebellious and independent regarding your choices of sexual partners?
That's my understanding of it, anyhow. I'll star the Q, both because it's a good one, and also because I'm not sure if I'm mistaken or missed anything, and perhaps one of my contacts can better answer it.

EDIT: Yeah, I've got a few of them, myself. Didn't really even begin to understand what they were all about until fairly recently. Oh, I wish that the doubters could see just how specific and accurate astrology can be sometimes!
EDIT #2: One more thing, it could be concerning legacies inherited from your mother or your mother's side of the family (particularly women on your mother's side of the family) as well, and transformation of those through hard work and innovation:)

opposition Uranus..could be seeking the inconventional, drawn towards one to one relationships versus "masses"..etc
But opp. Saturn..bit of a conflict here too..fear of close relationships...need to develop patience and compassion..
