Does compatibility really matter when it comes to love?!
Question: or are we actually more attracted to someone we are compatible with? when you're in love with someone you can look past their flaws can't you (most of the time)? i think compability is important when choosing a room mate or something but not really when it comes to love??
so my question: when you're compatible with someone does that mean you'll be more attracted to them too? or does it just mean you're more likely to get along?

When it comes to the "feeling" of love--no.
When it comes down to whether or not you will be able to live with someone for the rest of you life--YES.
Attraction and compatibility are two different things. You can be compatible with your team mates, friends, family.. and you can be attracted to a lover. You need both for a long-term and healthy relationship.
compatability is more important for long term relationships - flaws are all very well and good but you have to think twenty years down the line - openness to critisism is another gooooood attribute so be aware that if you find fault it will always come back that you have faults too.
Attraction improves with time as love grows and you might find that someone who isn't particularly your "type" in looks is your type in acts and as a woman you will soon come to realise actions are EVERYTHING... sweet words are just sweet ;)

not really, if both of you are willing to make it work then life will find away, or rather you will find away. life has away of evolving, if you give it time everything will take the shape you want them to be.
well what is compatible? does it mean you need to have common interests? or outlook in life?
if your asking "do you need to be alike in order to be compatible" then no, not necessarily.
sometimes love is not subjective if not all the time.
attraction has a funny way of telling us that somethings there, and its worth a shot. telling you that you should go over there and talk to him/her. but it doesnt mean youll get along it only means that your searching for something in hopes that you find it.

They go hand in hand. You can be in love all the live long day, but at the end of the day, sometimes love is not enough.
