Modest and intelligent, but fussy and a perfectionist?
lol actually my friend is a virgo too. so let's see:
virgos tend to be about average on grades and stuff, but books keep them occupied. good looks is a typical virgo trait too. um... you should be kinda out-going i guess. (man... this is hard lol) uh... you make friends easily if you actually talk to them. and.... i don't know. i think i'll stop there lol
I agree with modest and intelligent, in fact more intelligent than most people realize. You have a lot of untapped potential and you have a lot of love to share with the right person who can bring this out in you. You are very dedicated to your work or school to the point of being a perfectionist and you are dedicated to any person you become involved with. Your perfectionist personality does not like criticism and therefore you put a lot of effort into being right the first time. You enjoy life and tend toward optimism but at heart you are a realist and sometimes wonder why you see things about situations that others can't seem to see.

Well I am a Virgo and I can tell you how I am so we'll see if we match at all. I am a perfectionist and a neat freak and I tend to be kind of controlling but not in a way that's over bearing I kind of keep it to myself and drive myself crazy when people around me don't act the way I want. I also love to take care of people and help people - I'm always looking for ways to do this(it makes me feel good about myself). I also am very sensitive and tend to get my feelings hurt so I am not always willing to let people see how I really feel all the time. I also love to have a good time though and love to laugh and hang out with my friends. I am very conscience of the way I look also - I take care of myself although I always feel there's room for improvement ( perfectionist....) Hope I made some sense.

In Western Astrology all persons born between 24 August - 23 September in a year is classified as a VIRGOIS. But this information is simply incomplete, since not all the days between 24 August to 23 September have the same planetary condition and combination. The Sun which apparently enters the VIRGO zodiac mostly on 24th August and at the rate of 1 degree each day moves on to complete the 30 degrees in this zodiac by 23 rd of september before moving into the next zodiac sign of LIBRA does not have the same planetary force on each day in equal measure that is why the Sun characteristic (male-like elements) become generally visible in these people but may vary in degree and magnitude depending upon other factors like influential combination of other planets like MARS, SATURN, JUPITER, MERCURY, VENUS as well, not to speak of our own MOON's angular position (which directly balances the heart and mind axis of the Person) in the horoscope. which determines the characteristics of the person, his capabilities, his/her obsessions, deceptions and fallacies, or his rise or fall or turbulence or contributions in the life in a phased manner ;
(b) movement of our Solar system within (our) Milky way galaxy -
which is helpful in the study of the rise and fall of societies and tribes of different regions of the world;
Indian astrology is somewhat advantageously placed in this respect because it has got rich volumes of researched text by dedicated / devoted sages, on the subject in ancient SANSKRIT, which is not easy to decipher. Even what has been converted into simple and comprehensible text , are doing wonderful jobs in day-to-day matters, and career and marital predictions. Of course to get the benefit of this, one has to come up with his / her correct -
(1) date fo birth
(2) time of birth
(3) place of birth.
A simple knowledge of the zodiac sign will not do. Please note that about 8 % population of the world has this zodiac sign of VIRGO, and not all of them have the same (100%)charactersitic trait.
