Is "Horoscopes" evolving past it's current format?!
Question: To be perffectly honest, I've only been posting in this section for about 6 months now, before that point, I didn't even know that Y!A had a "horoscopes" section. And I wasn't on Y!A all that much anyhow. But, I'm digressing. In the past 6 months I've seen the quality of the of both the quesitons and the answers in this section improve greatly (and no, I am NOT including my shoe question in the mix of "quality" questions. I know it was silly, but I was bored, and it was kind of fun, so there:p). But more importantly, and more relevant to the point that I'm trying to make, is that the topics that are currently being explored in this section aren't always directly relevant to astrology. They can be tied in, sure, but in the past couple of days alone, I've seen (interesting) questions regarding numerology, tarot, past lives etc...So to me, it would appear that the energy here is changing somewhat, because when I started posting here, these questions were much less common than they are now

Hehe, it's funny...I was thinking about that today...It has changed a lot, indeed. I'm glad that there are finally more relevant Qs and As here.
We have to say, though, that this is the work of the regulars and NOT Y!people...It seems like people who come here become interested in contributing more and more to the section. Yahoo! people, though, don't seem to care about it and I find this to be very unfair...
Anyway, I think we can still be very proud about this.
(Btw, yes, your Q about shoes was fun...!)
Oh, I just had a crazy idea....Do you think that this section has its own chart? Like sun, rising, etc? It would be interesting to know...(After all it's about Horoscopes)

I have been on y/a for quite a while although with very long absences. I never paid much attention to this section before because Q&A always sounded so basic in this particular category. And full of copy-paste.....
Therefore I did not pay attention to it ; did not really read what people had to say or asked so am kind in the dark.
But after " meeting" a few like-minded people, even if we disagree ..but through sharing our knowledge and points of views nonetheless I got interested a bit again.
I certainly do not consider myself a know-it -all and enjoy the inputs of what others have to say. I have realised that there is much to learn from others that I did not know.
OK...got to go now.........

Hi there to all the Regulars (Restless_Angel, Eliza D) on this section..
I guess I can be considered a 'regular' as well, although there've been lapses in my logging on due to the heavy traffic of work recently...sorry I havent been 'participating' as much as some of the other contributors. I guess you can call me a sometime pensive, reculsive Old Soul, being a Capcricorn and all that...
but I do read the postings though....and yes, if i do contribute to the postings, I only ask 'thought-provoking' questions pertaining to reincarnation, soul mission etc...sorry, can't do those 'silly, fun' postings :-P Blame it on the Mercury in Capricorn placement
But I'm with you all...Astrology and more generally, Spirituality is what I love practising for without it, there really is not much meaning in Life for me...It has really made me evolve into a Higher Spiritual Being and especially during the first Saturn Return period, which I'm still going through *sob* ...life can be so difficult but like a true Capricorn goat who chews rusty cans etc, I never say die and give up.
I hope Life gives all of you only the very best that you deserve as well. It's comforting that there're always these faceless but kind strangers from all across the globe that care enough to answer questions and doubts.
We should all get together one day...that'd be great!
Hello, Talking Cat! I've noticed that better questions are asked at certain times of the day. I've been posting for well over a year(on and off), and its good to see that people are beginning to notice that theres more to astrology than a daily horoscope or the sun sign, so yea i would agree that the section is making a change (a good one).

I feel that this is due to there being no direct Psychic Section. Psychic questions get posted here, in Religion & Spirituality, Mythology & Folklaw & Alternative Science. So there is a growing diversity of questions due to Yahoos inflexibility to create a new topic group.
