How do you feel about sign compatibility? Is it most important? Or do you look a!

Question: Well, charts not chart i suppose, considering it's "compatibility". Just interested to see because I think everything must be accounted for to be completely accurate, but alot of people seem to just go on signs, particularly the sun. Not to say it isnt' important: it is VERY important, but it's not everything. Sure your ascedant (rising) sign is your personality, your sun is who you are at the core, and your moon is your emotions, all of which are very significant, but I think there's just more to it than that.

What is your opinion? I really am trying to get as much "experience" help as I can. So if you have any good stories please share.

Thanks in advance!

i've actually looked at my friends' charts and compared them to mine, and realized my closest friends either have conjunction/trine or sextile in relevance to my own chart compared to people i either don't care for, or don't like.

sun sign alone doesn't mean much of anything (and although most people think that's the "big" issue, it really isn't) in telling you who you are likely to like and be compatible with. in my experience with people, people with moon signs that were compatible with mine were usually closer to me than those who had compatible sun signs with me. for example, aquarius (fixed air) is square against scorpio (fixed water), thus it wouldn't make sense that i have many scorpio friends because we'd "clash." but my moon sign's scorpio (as well as ascendant), and because of strong scorpio effect, i get along better with scorpio suns than aquarius suns, although i'm an aquarius sun myself.

if you look at your chart and your friends' charts, you may see that those you get along with better has better aspect compared with yours than those who you don't care as much for.

the whole chart does matter, but i've found that focusing on the moon signs usually helps the most.

Its how YOU feel and not what's written in a book or said by someone else. Think for yourself.

I have never been convinced horoscopes have any validity.

lol i dont follow what astrology says about relationships
Im aquarian and my gf is scorpion. We get long fine and wild at night ;P

The whole chart is important, most definitely!

I mean it does sound foolish, but the things that the horosopes say about me are true. I'm a pisces by the way. They say that I go best with cancers and scorpios, and I have to admitt that its true. I mean I'm with a capricorn right now, so I'm just praying that it works, but for now we're hittig it off pretty well.

I'm Atheist, therefore, I find no validity in signs, voodoo, magic , supernatural, or religious non-sense.
However, I know there are physical influences from the Sun and Moon.

Well, I suppose it depends on the type of relationship you're looking at. Sun sign compatibility is good to have in just about any type of relationship, and I'd say it's difficult to sustain casual friendships, or any kind of relationship which doesn't have a lot of depth without that, but it's certainly not the only thing. And I'd also say that it's not really neccessary in romantic or spiritual relationships. In fact, I think that a less favourable sun sign pairing is probably more beneficial in these instances, because it gives us the opportunity to grow more as people. That being said, there has to be compatibility somewhere, or it's just an up-hill battle all the way...too exhausting. The two people in question would have a very difficult time relating to each other. So, if you're looking for a relationship that's mentally stimulating, you look for positive mercury aspects and so on down the list...I know I don't need to spell out each planet's role to you:)

That would be my take on it, anyhow.

It depends on the time where you were born, where you were born. The moon and sun signs. Even with Identical twins are born you usually find one is shy and the other is out going, they can be born within a minute of each other, that still makes a difference.
