Question: I noticed something interesting. Its about signs and their emotions from libra to aquarius house 7 to 11.
Libra is emotionally easygoing. Good social and takes life easy.
Scorpios like to enjoy every moment of their time. Also even though they are very emotional inside, they have a very good control over them.
Saggitarius are very optimistic about life. Actually sometimes blindly optimistic and love adventures and having fun.
Capricorn are completely emotionally closed off and have difficulties expressing their feelings. This can be good or bad sometimes.
Aquarius tend to be objective and stay emotionally away from things unless its about themselves or people theyc are for. In intellectualy subjects they don't become emotionally involved. But do care for everyone.

No, the reason for capricorn becoming more "emotionless" (it seems) after sagg is because of the reason of seeking security. it' all explained in great detail here :)

Capricorn becomes more ambitious after sagg b/c they seek security. Their security lies in knowing that they have made a name for themselves.
Cancer turns into Leo after it has faced its inner demons and is now ready to be a bit more courageous and free-spirited in facing the world. However, they still see the world in a very personal level, and after having overcome their own personal challenges, they now seek to be as optimistic and outgoing as possible and celebrate with others their own uniqueness.
Leo then turns into virgo in their quest for perfection of the being (because they have a pride about themselves). But virgo is tired of being in the spolight so much and receiving so much attention, so they, surprisingly, find the value of being hardworking, being of true service for others behind the scenes.
Virgo then turns into Libra, in my opinion, who applies his now greatly developed analytical skills to relationships with others. They still seek perfection, but now not in themselves, but with another. =). Isn't that beautiful?
Libra is then tired of chasing after everyone all the time, and they become empowered as a scorpio. They face their inner demons and purge themselves of their insecurities. They now allow their true emotions to have a little more control over their analytical, totally detached tendencies. However, you can see scorpio still has some of those detached analytical tendencies. They are also probably tired of facades while being a libra, and try their best to bring the truth, even if ugly, now to the forefront. They are the investigators now.
It's all about setting. It's all about where the soul has been in the past. Their behavior in the past determines/forecasts their behavior in the future. Once they tire of something..it's time to try another way of being. You understand?
Then scorpio is tired of being so selfish in trying to seek so much power for themselves (for security, they needed it)..but they don't need it anymore, though, as they already got it..and so they are ready to be a more easy going saggitarius when it comes to matters of love and they still have kept their absolutle zest for life and freedom-loving ways as you can see, but are now able to be more open-minded, and less security conscious. Like I said, I see it as an ongoing on again off again pattern of [[not needing security, but only being excited about life and ready to prove oneself as an aries, for example, who hasn't experienced much else after him, and then moving to a state of boredom with having proved themselves or having been too passionate about life or too analytical or too superficial (whatever it was) and so moving into a state of seeking other ways of being, and in finding new ways of being, seeking to establish security in these, and then as a consequence of having established this security, being ready to move on to the qualities under the next sign which is now ready to be a little more fun-loving and passionate or a little more detached/lighthearted again.]] Also, if you noticed, each sign after a water sign is a fire sign. Fire signs like Sagg appreciate the value and importance of emotinos because they have confronted this fact as a scorpio, for example. They realize the importance of listening to your intuition as well. If you notice, also, air signs follow earth signs. Can you guess that both of them prefer a mental, rational approach to life? But, can you also guess that earth is a little less mental because they were just a Fire sign who appreciated emotions ? (Take aries and taurus for example, for whom aries has no sign before it. They didn't need a water sign to make them think of the importance of emotions because the soul is naturally emotional in my opinion..but in a optimistic, adventureous, hungry, curious way like the Aries (like the element of fire. I think the soul is instinctually self-centered and praise seeking, and instinctual..based on instincts...it's only then that they begin to analyze and develop in different ways). You only get a water sign when the soul is so tired of living every other way: Being a crazy passionate impulsive fire sign and then being hungry for rational, sensible practicality instead, and then being convinced that rational is the way to go, but now seeking new experiences and learning about the world again (for example taurus into gemini) and then FINALLY they become a water sign when circumstances call for it because they are bored of seeing life in all other ways! Now, they seek meaning in emotions, wondering what the real meaning of life is, and they have nothin better to do, pretty, much hehe, but to face their inner demons now that they are so curious about emotions and see the world through them.)

p.s. What I think about what you were referring to in your question is that yes, the signs have learned how to control their emotions better simply because they have learned to master their neediness (or actually just become more confident in other words, by facing different aspects of themselves various times) in previous times. For example, the gemini is very needy, but denies this part of themselves even to themselves, and so as a cancer, they deal with having to face all these inner needs which they had so much once tried to suppress and move away from. But in facing their fears, of course, they learn many new things about life :)--such as the importance of emotions..and how they are not to be ignored...for the first time. Same thing, in my opinion, happens with the move from libra into scorpio and also even aqua into pisces. The mind is initially trying to suppress their instinctive, animal, irrational needs and wants by explaining them away and being totally as rational as possible about them....but in the next sign they try to integrate their soul with their liking for rationality and truly face their fears and become stronger as a result. However, for some reason pisces seems too settled, right? Seems like they don't really have enough motivation to face their fears and become less dependent right? I wonder why that is...Seems like in the end the soul is just Bored LOL! very wise, but perhaps it needs greater challenges as a pisces to keep it moving (ahead)...
EDIT: Yes, you are correct, Pisces are not as, anything...as any of the other signs. But why, why should this be? Why, because they are all of it! a LITTLE bit of it all. They can switch any time they want. Also, I didn't really say that Pisces was better than the other 11, I didn't say that. All I said was that it has gone through all the other signs' experiences so now it is sort of bored, lol. Though they have learned a lot. But , anyway, what desire did all this "learning" lead to? The desire to be of selfless, compassionate, truly caring service to others. i think what that means is that that is the ideal for humanity to be.

I subscribe to that also,but I wouldn't use 'improve' but 'compensate'. The most familiar of the phenomenon to me is Aries starting things off, and Taurus being good at picking things up and seeing the matter through to completion.
Easy trait in itself is useful, at different times, in different scenarios (eg. Capricorns might make good emergency service workers).

Aquarius... yes its a pattern, signs evolve from one to another, but in the process, they get "problems" that are then solved by the following one, who gets yet another problem...
Like blind existence rightfully said... the signs evolve from the ego (from theirselves [Aries]) to only caring about others (Pisces) and the closer you get to each pole, the more people express things concerning, themselves, or the others...

Rarely does pisces care about himself and does aries care about others... its a pattern you notice, the higher you go, the more they care... and it never stops...
As for emotional terms... i believe the closer you go to pisces, the more the emotions are "dreamed about, or take other forms or less shown or done in ways not close to the animal kingdom" i dont think pisces are that emotional... they just show it off easily, compared to capricorns, aquarius or sagittarius... which ends out being an improvement if you look at it...
Aries loves in a normal animilistic way and you must be there for them at all times (love=sex lol)
Taurus already likes romantic stuff, but still enjoys a animilistic way, nevertheless hes a little less controling than aries (love=sex in a romantic way)
Cancer is possessive but already sees another plane, he still controls you nevertheless and wants a family....
Leo already allows you some freedom, but they still possess and control a bit...
Virgos will judge the way you make your calls... and grant you even more freedom than leos
Same for virgo, but libra wont criticize, and say "you have to do this" that directly...
Scorpio, will let you make your life, the same way they will make theirs, but they will still want to know everything about you...
sagittarius... same as scorpio, but doesnt care as much, for info about you as scorpio
capricorn... make your career that i make mine, i dont care what you do as long as you dont betray me and as long as your happy and im happy
aquarius... i love everyone and i love freedom, so why should i possess or care for my partners "exits"... they are trustworthy... if they are happy, im happy (its easy to trick an aquarian, but its even easier to trick a pisces...)
