If Pluto is in astrology are scientists wrong saying that it isn't a planet?!

Question: Recently I heard that scientists took pluto out as a planet. But it has been used in astrology. Are they wrong?

According to wikipedia, Chuck Norris knows what Willis is talking about.

Anyway, the reason why Pluto isn't a planet is that it has not cleared things out of its way in its area. It meets the other two rules (orbits the sun, big enough that its gravity squishes it into a ball).

They now classify Pluto as a dwarf planet because it has not cleared the area around it's orbit.

Astrology is an ancient art, and the telescopes used to find the planets were not as big therefore Pluto looked like a planet because by those days standards it was. It wasn't even til the 1970's that we even had very much info about Pluto. In August 2006 they redefined what makes a planet, and added rule number 3.

Who knows, maybe in a few years the astrological board will meet and vote out Pluto, but only if Chuck Norris is there.

Well it's actually a dwarf planet.

You heard right. I still use Pluto and disregard what they say. Pluto kills marriage only to regenerate partnerships. You can lose all your money (Pluto kills your wallet) and replenish it 10 times over.
Pluto removes or destroys only to make place for the new. He gives us a new life, a new chance to do better. Now why they removed this planet is out of my reach.
That means that Scorpio has no more ruling planet ?

According to Indian Astrology we take Sun,Moon.Mars,Mercury,Jupiter,Venus,Satu... and the nodes as Rahu and Kethu. We don't give much importance to Uranus,Neptune and Pluto.

Which one is wrong? Astrology takes advantage of science when if and when it chooses. It never contributes.

None of the planets outside of Saturn were known until the invention of the telescope. Pluto was discovered in 1930. Due to it's high reflective luminosity, was thought to be much larger than it is. 2003 the planet, now call Eris, was discovered. Orbiting much further than Pluto, Eris is a little larger. Both are now classified as dwarf planets. See link. Larger still are some of the moons of the gas giant planets. But astrology does not use these at all.

After awhile people made up attributes and assigned a constellation to Pluto and may do so with Eris. According to the boundaries for the constellations adopted by the International Astronomical Union in 1921, there are 13 signs of the zodiac instead of the usual 12; time from Ophiuchus the snake handler is usually included in time given to Scorpio.

Nine years before finding Pluto, this is rejected by astrologers. The number 12 is very important because it is very easy to divide. The four "elements" are alternated evenly. So do the Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable modes alternate. 13 is a prime number and can not fit in. Can't have back to back fire and Cardinal signs.

Changes in astrology occur only when there is an advantage.
