Absolutely not! Every time you go down a different path, it is a learning experience. Life is not supposed to be easy although at times it can be. That being said, if you really want something, you should go for it and continue to do until you get it.
If it is not right for you, then the situation will transform into something else which is right for you. As long as you are sending out the right signal, then you will achieve that.
If you look at any perfectionist in history, say an athlete, how many times have they tried to do something and failed. Everyone learns from their failures, that is how you get results. If you don't try something, then you will never get there.
Keep you intent high and if after 100 times you don't get the result you want, then take a look at what you are trying to achieve and change your strategy until you find something that works.

I would think the fact that you are indecisive about it probably means that it's fate that you did not get it. It was not the right path for you right now.
It depends what you applied for could be a loan,a job, collage, I don't know a guy lol, a free vacation somewhere, only you know how bad you want it...and only you decide what happens after, are you going to use negativity as experience learn,grow,and move on? or are you going to be p!!ssed at half the world because it didn't go the way you planned? If destiny were true and we already had a path then where does that leave the things that are worth fighting for? I grew up with not much $ but now I have it,it is thanks to god who has given me life but mostly my very own wisdom. I really doubt it was my path to have $,I can loose it any day if I'm not wise on my spending.(I'm not super rich I just take care of my$) i'm not bragging I'm using it as an example. hmmm...not sure if I explained myself to where u can understand what i'm trying to say...i hope so
well some people believe (myself included) that if you try and try and try to get something or to make something work, and it just does not work out, no matter what you do. That it just wasn't meant to be. Like you said, it just wasn't your path and their are greater things to unfold for you in time.

I'd say that it means that you don't really need it.
Big difference between wanting and needing. To want for something implies that the universe in it's infinite wisdom has erred somehow and left you lacking something, which of course doesn't happen. If your intent was for the best possible outcome, then things panned out exactly as they should have.

A few years ago there was this job that I wanted and actually its the current position that I still hold. I applied for this current role on 5 different occasions. Finally I got it, when I settled into the role I knew that if I had of got it before hand I would of sunk, when I did get it I knew it was because I was ready for it, and the timing was right.
The universe works on divine timing and in this way they wont give you something if you aren't meant to be there. If you applied and you put the correct amount of effort into it and showed the confidence that the job role required its just that the right timing wasn't there. Another good thing is that you could always front the person that did the applications and ask them why you didn't get it, so you have something to work on and have a better shot next time.
