What do you love about your job and what are you're dislikes ?!
Question: explain
Answers: explain
I'm a college student, so I've most consistently been waitressing.
What do I love? I love having a job. I love bringing in some kind of money, as I desperately need it. I love that waitressing doesn't take a lot of brain power away from my studies - it wears me out physically, but it doesn't take a whole lot of thinking. Let's save the thinking for class.
What do I dislike? Everything else. I hate being on my feet for hours and hours at a time, I hate getting burn scars on my arms from hot plates, I hate rude customers, I hate that my tips are considered part of my paycheck. I hate my stupid managers, I hate the awful music I have to listen to all day, I hate most of my coworkers.
But despite all that, I always have a smile on my face and pretend I f*cking love working at this goddamned Ruby Tuesday. I'm a theatre major, man, let's act like I love being a waitress.
i'm a teacher's aid at a religious school.
i love making copies. i don't know why, but it's really relaxing. i also like putting together worksheets and other things for the teacher, who's really disorganized. but my favorite thing is on sunday afternoons when i work in the office, because i get to make copies and stamp letters. it feels really good to have a routine like that, and a lot of my co-workers have been my friends for a long time.
but the kids are sometimes problems. there's one 5th grader that always hisses at me and gives me dirty looks, and that breaks me down a little bit. but the others are pretty nice, and i guess that's my only dislike :)
Love-Co workers
Dislike-Actualy work i have to do
I love the tasks I perform, I dislike for whom I'm performing the tasks and the reasons why they want me to do what I'm doing.
I especially dislike the hours! I have to get up at 4:30 in the morning, and I am NOT a morning person.
I don't have a job.
I'm a college freshman, but I'll never have to work a day in my life if don't want to. If I do work, I would be self-employed only and just work when I want to.
I'm always asked for promotions, which can be annoying, but I take it as a sign of appreciation. The only thing is I haven't found my desired line of work yet and I don't want to be stuck in a dead-end job. I always love the respect I've gotten in every position however.
