Question: I think a better question is, "Do you believe that the human mind has abilities that we've only begun to understand?"
Tarot is ultimately a key to unlocking doors within our own minds. The tarot enables us to focus our energies on specific questions, and to structure our thoughts and energies around different aspects of every question.
There are also many other paths that lead in this same direction though: Runes are one. The I Ching is another.
Personally I think that each discipline has its place, and it depends on what kind of question you're asking, or what kind of issue you're seeking insight on.

Massed produced pieces of printed cardboard that can tell the future. Even though my cereal box is made at the same place. With the same cardboard and ink. I've been to a place that made these cards. No magic.
Once I played poker with a deck of tarot cards. I drew a full house and three peaple died.
In some sense of the way I do. I live by them and just keep an eye out on things...I do web tarot every morning just to see what to look for throughout the day.

I believe if used right they can be accurate.
I also think they are very beautiful. Several years ago I bought a few really pretty sets and always want to learn to read them but I don't have the patience for instruction manuals..I wish I had a real person who knew how and was willing to take the time to teach me.

i tend to not ask a very specific question but just think of a subject etc
i always ponder on things like is it the cards that determine our future OR our future that determines the cards?
but i do strongly belive in them and i often use them if im confused about why things happened or just to relax really.
