Are the air signs temperamental?!
Question: hmm... i disagree with what was said about fire signs being temperamental. i've met some leos and sags who keep their cool even when everybody is panicking. i've also witness librans and geminis blow up for no reason, not even a logical one. only excuse they'd given is that this is not what they wanted. well... not everyone gets what they want! met recently a leo who seldom gets angry and always nice, but when she does get mad after something unfair was done, everybody backs away from her.

I am a Gemini and don't consider myself to be tempermental.
It depends upon what your description of temperamental is....bouts of moodiness? temper tantrums? unable to make decisions? impulsiveness? Because most signs have all of those behaviors to a certain degree (some more than others)....I would say "yes" to your question......
No, not tempermental, mercurial sometimes (you should know all about that, Gemini), and logical though.
Fire signs are tempermental. Air signs are logical...if they lose their temper, it's because someone is doing something that they don't find to be in line with their logic. A fire sign will spout off for whatever reason, and sometimes for no reason at all directly related to the situation at hand, just left over spouting off that should have been done elsewhere. Air signs don't really do that...they'll analyze the situation first, decide whether or not it stands to reason to be angry, and then take it from there.
EDIT: And I'll agree with Janet. It's the combo that does it. BUT I will say that an air sign with little fire in the chart WILL NOT be tempermental. A fire sign with little air can and probably will be (unless there's a strong emphasis on earth in the individual's chart).

First, I want to say that I really enjoyed reading restless's answer and the counter to it by out of the blue. So, now I'll throw in my two cents on the matter. It's a combination of the fire and air. Air signs do tend to be logical and fire signs tempermental; so, if you see a Gemini that is tempermental, there is probably going to be a fire moon sign. If you see a fire sign that is never tempermental, the moon sign is probably not an air element. The combination of air and fire is definitely a mix for flare-ups.
Yes very temperamental, we blow easy but when we're ready to let of wind...there's trouble.

I would say yes that some of the people who are air signs are temperamental. Aquarius people are temperamental because when they are angry they are very dangerous.
i have a lot of air in my chart and i do not think i am very temperamental at all, it actually takes a lot to provoke me but if you do look out! haha.
