"Horoscopes are gay, God is the way"?
Ya' see ya'll, there is something wrong with this. Do you see that this is straight up hypocritical? It's like a Pinto with spinners on it, or like a drug dealer with no money!! Come on!
Isn't this using "gay" as an insult? Because last time I knew, God is the judge, not us! Who are we to insult because someone enjoys astrology? God loves gay folks too! Maybe He's not gonna be too happy with you for trying to sit in his chair my dear!

I'm sorry, maybe it's not funny, but I've seen this type of response SO many times (I like R&S too, and seriously, you'd think the apocalypse had already started over there some days) that it's just become ridiculous to me now.
Arguing to a fundamentalist Christian that they are being hypocritical and in fact being more of a sinner than the person who they are persecuting will not be likely to do any good, as they feel that their interpretation of the Bible is GOD's only true interpretation, and anyone who doesn't fit into the mold of what their interpretation of "God's word" (I'm still not convinced ot that, BTW....unless God took that pen in his hand himself to write those words, they've at least been filtered through the consciousness of men, if not outright made up sometimes....virgin births and men being swallowed by whales.....I ask you, does this sound reasonable to believe????? Come on.) says they should be or not be, is damned to hell (another concept I'm dubious about...at least the Christian concept of fire and brimstone and evil little demons with horns in red suits).
Programmed answers coming from those who are too lazy and misguided to think for themselves. Ever wonder why these answers are always short and catchy...and frequently rhyme? It's so that they appeal to the type of mentality that will spread this type of crap. Anyone using lines like "Horoscopes are gay, God is the way" (still rolling eyes over that one, haha), or the classic "God created Adam and Eve, NOT Adam and Steve" (:-p...that one kind of makes me feel like vomiting a little bit now every time I see it, it's so old) or any of the rest of the little catch-phrases that they seem to enjoy using is clearly both: 1. unable to put together a logical argument for themselves, either because there is no logic behind their words to begin with, or because thinking just makes their head all achy, and 2. brainwashed beyond belief.
At any rate, it's misguided and stupid, because if ever there was anything that would point to the existence of some sort of divine and greater intelligence, astrology would be one of those things. Funny really, because they're always talking about the miracles their God is able to perform, and yet they refuse to acknowledge the miracles which are right in front of their noses on a daily basis. I guess God's only supposed to help people part seas and talk to burning bushes. Anything other than that doesn't classify. Oh yeah, and it's not a miracle unless it happened more than two millenia ago, forgot about that one.
Have you ever wondered why astrology (fortune telling, witchcraft...whatever else they call it and similar things) is condemned by the Bible? Ever think that maybe it's a 2000 year old witch hunt put into place by men who happened to be leaders of the church when it was decided exactly what would and would not be included in the Bible...and wanted to be sure that their influence remained unquestioned by the masses? It's likely easier to control the masses when you've got them programmed to believe that everything they do or have done is inherently evil because they're human...keep them dependent on the church.
It's one of the first rules of performing arts..."keep 'em wanting more". Now typicallly a performer will do this by just being so damned good at what they're doing that the audience doesn't want to leave...but I suppose that in the absence of real talent and inspiration bribery and threats could produce the same effect.

Well I sometimes believe there is a god and I also believe in astrology.
The fact that more than half of the bible is based on astrology and the stars consider yourself to be the more intelligent among the others who go around talking about believe in god and astrology is this and astrology is that because As I always said.. Practice what you preach therefore those people need to pick up the bible and actually detail read it before they make upfront judgments.

Maybe this person was really saying that horoscopes are "weak" or just suggesting they have no worth to compared to God. I don't know. I believe that there is no god. Due to the same reason I believe that there is no thing as astrology. Free will makes it pointless. It's is all made up and because money is made we're stuck with it. No evidence of any kind for either. But it is my opinion and another argument.

Bear in mind all miracles and prophecies of the Bible are made and confirmed only in the Bible. There is no validation from other unbiased sources. In fact there are a lot prophecies that did not come true. Such as the drying up of the Nile River or the city of Damascus being wipe from the earth.
Virgin births? With humans no, but there are lizzards that breed without males. Sure the Bible is full of myths. But what makes astrology any more real. That our solar system was only made to guide humans though their short lives. The earth no, humans are the center of the universe. This also implies a divine designer.
Homo sapiens has been around about 100,000 years. God (of Abraham) maybe has been around the last 4 thousand. I can easily come up with a large list of other gods that at one time were totally omnipotent (Zeus, Baal, Isis) and feared. The planets were named after such powerful beings. Everyone that did not believe in them were atheists. Until they stopped believing. We cast them aside and the only difference between us and them is one more god.
Dinosaurs and other animals were around for hundreds of millions of years. We are an asteroid impact away from being wiped out. Humans are pattern seeking creatures, other animals are not. Being such seekers gives us wonder and make curious. But it make us gulible. That is where science is so important. It winnows out what is false along with self-delusions. It is far from perfect but it is the best we have.
