Question: is going to be spending V-day with me (i brought it up), but he mentioned not wanting to overdo it but spend a nice time together. he mentioned not being a fan of the day due to it making people sad or happy depending on whether they are in a relationship or not.
Should I tell him that I really like the day? I'm worried that he might always think very little of this day and I will be hurt in the future. How can I let him know this since I don't want to push too hard.

cap female here--and I agree with the others. all I want for valentines day is my guy to come over and snuggle on the couch and watch TV. I wouldn't want him to waste money on flowers that are overpriced and are just going to die. as far as cards go--too early in the relationship to buy each other one of those mushy cards--then the pressure of one gets one a serious card and the other gets one a funny one. If you tell him you like that day--he'll feel under a lot of pressure to buy you something nice. No need to put pressure on a new relationship.
Yeah--he's into you if he wants to spend time with you. I don't waste time with relationships that I feel are going nowhere.
Yeah, I basically feel the same way as your Cappy date. I don't take V-Day seriously too because it's really only a commercial holiday. And Capricorns in general are very laid back and simple. They don't expect anything too fancy because all they care about is the more important things in life, like getting time to spend with their lovers or anything that can be done to make someone happy.
But, if you really take this day seriously, tell him.
He's spending time with you...he's into you. Time and money are two things that Caps won't give unless they care.
Tell him you like the day. And bake him some heart-shaped brownies, just before he comes over....
You'll be surprised at how much he'll adapt in time.
