I have a leo son and a gemini daughter too! They actually will get along better as they age. But the battle here is the battle of the minds. Both are very smart, and they excel at verbal combats. They probably verbally fight a lot. This is cool because it'll prepare them for the real world out there. Everything is not fun and games and everyone will not like you! But they can be taught to understand how the other one communicates and how to react to different types of communication. For instance, the leo needs to understand that the gem will be more flighty with their thoughts and not to get mad because she's talking her head off. He needs to learn patience. The gem needs to learn that her brother is very intelligent too and he likes to be knowledgable of things and be right in the end. She needs to learn patience in knowing that he may just be right and that's that! This is life, and they need to learn.

Astrology isn't going to help you raise your children or help them get along better. Just be the best mother you can be, realize they're not always going to get along (brothers and sisters RARELY get along), and don't look to some hocus-pocus chicanery to make sense of anything in your life.
I think that if the son is older, it could go either way really. On one hand, he could be a really good protective older brother, which of course IS a good thing to have, but will the gemini girl care for that very much? You've got a better shot if she's got a gentler moon, I think. Or if one of them does, anyhow. But still, even with a water or earth moon, I still can't see a leo boy backing down from any girl, even a girl with her moon AND mars in aries. Leo males need to be alpha. They crave it. Leo machismo....(rolls eyes)

the geminis tend to help leos a lot if only they understand.the leos advise gemini. all in all, the geminis tend to hurt leos with their heads high up in the air. the leo being the good hearted fellow is sensitive and is hurt with the insensitive comments made by gemini. the geminis are gossipy, cunning and selfish. the leos are loyal and possessive. the geminis lie a lot too. the leo cant understand why the gemini cant tell the truth.the gemini also flirts alot which is not taken easily by the leo.my leo brother would often try to slap my gemini sister because of this trait.he thought she should be loyal to one person. the gemini is a split personality and is hot at one time and cold in another.the leo is a warm hearted person. but the leo tends to look selfish and the gemini more friendly because of their good communicative skills.they both have a lot to learn from each other and improve. if they join hands they will be one good team. but each one thinks that the other one is progressing because of them!
