im not big into whole astrology thing but i am an aquarius and my ex was a leo. i am a very outgoing guy and get kind of rediculous at times. she was very much the leader type so my goofing off kind of drove her batty but she was too serious about things. Oh boy . . . well Leo and Aquarius are opposite signs. The good news is, depending on your chart placements you could actually balance each other out (making for a perfect match). For example: If your North node is Aquarius with a South Node in Leo and his South node is Aquarius with his North in Leo. I'm no expert but I am a Leo and very aware of my Aquarius relationships. I happen to have my south in Aquarius and my North in Leo, lol. Bottom line really is to realize each others needs: You need freedom and expansion. Your probably kind of aloof and imaginative. i wouldn't put much faith the opposites attract theory.
it's only good when only the signs are considered. but many other things like the rising sign and the position of both people's venus and mars are more important than the sun sign when reading into relationships.
take for example a leo man born at midnight. by default, he would make strong relationships with aquarius people, but in this case, in mainly the professional realm; because the astrological relationship involves the 4th and 10th houses-- nothing romantic.
this same man would probably be better off marrying a scorpio (7th house in this scenario), although it's not going to be a smooth relationship by virtue of the square between leo and scorpio.
merely reading the sun signs leaves too much room for guesswork.
