How long does it take a celtic cross spread to "come true"?!
Question: i keeo doing readings for myself...about one every other day...for the past month or so, and the spread always has the same cards or themes going on...10 of cups, ace of cups, 2 of cups, 9 of cups, the lovers, the star, the sun.....yet none of this has come to fruition. what the f?

OK lets back up here a minute. I do lots of readings for myself and others. Reading for yourself is the MOST challenging because we have what we WANT to have happen come up in the cards. We are biased and then some.
So how do you get around that? First off you get very specific in your question. Second you write down that question. Third you write down the cards that came up and in what order. That way you can give that spread to someone else to look at or you can go back after a specific time frame and figure out where you are. Asking when the gorgeous blond is going to walk through or back through your door over and over will just piss it off. Perhaps if you took the lessons that the cards are offering you and worked with them TOWARDS the goal instead of just flipping cards, you will have more sucess.
Pick a specific question. Do your reading. Interpret your reading. Then have someone else who knows about it look at it.
They are a tool to help us see where the roadblocks are. They will not get in the car and drive you there.

doing readings every other day is not really a great idea ,also as one of the other people said we often pick what we sort of desire .
i often tell clients not to come back for a least 3 months ,this is generally how long it takes for a reading to come to fruitation .
3 months past information and 3 months future possibilities .
what i do off and on is i will pick a card from the deck to sort of give me a hint for the day this is a good practice and can be helpful ,but a full celtic card spread every other day is naturally going to give you similar cards and is not going to be too helpful and might possibly be a bit confusing .
it is difficult at best to get a true reading on ourselves ,most psychics etc etc .are not psychic about themselves .
better to go to someone who doesnt know anything about you .
keep in mind the three month reading ,not a whole lot is going to changes until that time .
