I am not a Cancer but I have a Cancer rising.
They are sensitive people and easily hurt. They have mood swings and are sometimes hard to understand. Their controlling planet is the Moon, planet of emotions. So, that explains them being so sensitive and moody. They like to spend Saturdays at home probally watching old movies. They are also caring people and sweet-natured. Once a Cancer is commited, they are solid as a rock. Cancer boys need to feel good in school, well, everywhere. He'll probably gravitate to a small, liberal arts college.

My son is a cancer also, he is five days before me so we share the sign. As I have watched him grow, I see a lot of things we have in common. He is very moody and tends to get absorbed by things he likes. He can be sitting in class, and just all of a sudden start talking about things that happened the summer before. Be carefull what you say around him, us cancers have amazing memories, and I can not tell you how many times I have been embarrassed by him popping up at the oddest times and saying, Mom you said Mrs Pearson's Ideas were old fashioned and that you could think of a better way her class should be ran while I am talking to his teacher!! Praise him constantly because we need all the comfort and love we can get. Hug him daily and tell him you love him. It means so much to us Cancers to constantly be reminded we are loved. Cancer children use their intuition to guide them, often using how they feel as why they did something.
