Well, I've studied palmistry, but not recently. There are a lot of things to consider when reading people's palms, there's more to it than just reading a person's lines. You have to look at the shape of their hand. There are four types of hands: water, fire, air, and earth. Each of these elements have their own characterists, it's a lot like astrology. For example, people with earth hands are most likely to do hard labor such as construction and such.
Then you have to look at the shape of their fingers. Are they long? Slender? Thick? Short? Each of these things will tell you something. There are names for certain finger shapes. And besides finger shapes you also have to consider finger tip shapes and wrinkles on the knuckels, and the wrinkles located between the fingertips and the knuckles.
You also have to consider the color of the person's hands, both back and the palm. In a sense this is can be very easy, especially when dealing with the back hand. For example, if a person has a pale color then they must be sick, or have a lack of iron in their system. If its yellow it could be hepitis.
Now when dealing with the palm specifially, you must know the palm different regions, and you must understand their importance within a reading. Besides the lines, you must look out for other marks, such as stars, squares, triangles and such; and you must pay close attention as to where they are located.

No one can exactly explain how to read a palm through the internet. You need to study palmistry and learning how to read palms is a lot easier when you get a look at other hands and how different they are. How their heart and fate lines look compared to others. I go to the public library to get palmistry books when I feel like studying and it's quite enjoyable! Good topic!
I find the theories of palm reading to be true. The accuracy is normally high and I enjoy reading my friends and families palms.
as far as my knowledge palm reading can correctly predict timing of an event than astrology. but only an expert palm reader is capable of doing so.
