Question: My date of birth is 25/08/1980, i no this makes me a virgo but i was borne 2wks late and have always displayed leo characteristics? is this just coincidence? I know this sounds like a daft question but have always been curious!

Technically you are a virgo, but it isn't unheard of to display characteristics from both signs that you are close to. Also, you sound likely that you are a cusp baby, which means that you were born in between the two signs changing from Leo to Virgo which would make sense that you identify with one sign more than the other or even display traits from both. I was born waay early, and my due date was pretty close to a libra. But, my friends tell me that I sometimes act like a leo (was born on the 24th of aug.) There's probably a good chance that leo/sun was in your house at the time of your birth.
Everyone is born exactly when they are supposed to be born. There is no "late".

No it's not a daft question at all, quite a sensible one in fact. I have pondered this question for many years myself. In 1980 the Sun moved into Virgo on 23rd August, so I would say you share some Leonine traits anyway. Also, it depends on what time you were born; if you were born between midnight and one in the morning, you would have to deduct one hour (when preparing natal birthcharts Greenwich Mean Time is always used), which would mean that your birthdate would in fact fall on the previous day!! So this would make you even more inclined to share some Leo characteristics.
I don't really believe in a baby being born "late" or "early" (unless of course they are born prematurely - by this I mean a couple of months beforehand) if you are talking about a couple of weeks. The date that the doctor gives a mother as to when a baby will be born, is a pure guideline as most people will not know when they conceived anyway. However there is always an exception to the rule: I was told by my doc. that the due date for my baby would be 24 July. She in fact was born on this date - at 0048 hours!
