I don't agree with Paula, I think if your parents say no, the answer is no.

The answer would be no - they may take your computer privileges away entirely.
I say, if you're allowed to have one [according to MySpace's Rules and Conditions and whatnot], you should keep it.
As long as you're not out meeting crazy kids online, and you're just doing some harmless keeping in contact with your friends and family, you should not have a problem.
If your parents are concerned that you are out meeting people you shouldn't be meeting, then you should sit them down and tell them what's up. There's never any harm in just networking through profile websites like MySpace as long as you know what you're doing.
On a funnier note, sorry to say this, but tell your parents to mind their own business. If you're old enough to know what the hell you're doing online, no need for their big noses to know that. I don't mean to offend your parents, but still...nosy parents suck. XD
i don't know how old you are, but it comes down to this- if you're mature enough to know what you're doing, having a myspace is harmless (aside from the possibility of viruses and such). If your parents are concerned, make the profile private.
I should advise you to myspace safely, especially not knowing your actual age. There are some real creeps out there, creeps who you might not want to access your information. But so long as you are careful, there's no harm in having a myspce.
