why not, as long as I'm been told, letters are private, personal and romantic.

My mom is a capricorn, and she likes getting letters from people. She likes to read. But she always calls the person after she reads it because she's so gabby! LOL

as a capricorn, i would say thats the best way.it would give
me time to think about it.no pressure to respond right away,
and blurt out something stupid.

It all depends on how long they were dating. I don't like it when someone who I just met and barely know much about starts saying "I Love You." I do like to hear those words from someone I care and love, but I would like to know that this person really means it. Capricorns like to take everything slow because they analyze everything throughly before they decide to take a risk and jump into a new relationship. So, if you are trying to get a Capricorn to like you, you better take things slow and NEVER rush or force them into making decisions. We hate that.
Actually for me, I think that will be alot better because I have a habit of being nonchalant or having a nonchalant expression on my face...when it's just the opposite inside. I usually get really quiet and don't know what to say, at least with a letter, that can give me time to take it all in and think about how to respond to it.
