Question: Hi- I was recently converstating with a girl and she is into astrology. According to her we are highly compatable( I am Aquarius and she is Saggitarius). Its good news, because I like her but i already knew we were compatable with out looking into the stars about it. But she told me some things about my personality that rang true and did seem to describe me well.
My question is for those in the know- what are typical characteristics of male Aquarians and female Saggitarians?
And is it indeed a good pairing?

I figured on my own that yes you two are compatible. I am very much into astrology. But just to be sure, I looked on a couple of sites about compatibility, and YES it says that Aquarians and Saggitarians ARE compatible.
Other signs Aquarians are compatible with: aries, gemini, libras....
Not compatible with: pisces, taurus, cancer, virgo, scorpio [me], and capricorn...
Leo's and other Aquarians can be variable.

Sun signs (not star signs, since that could mean Betelgeuse, not our Sun) have nothing to do with compatibilty. It is only immature books that say so. The important things are aspects of Venus the planet of love and 3 Houses realted to this matter. My professional books have differnt ideas about the strength of Sun signs. One should have a horoscope done by a competent astrologer, rather than asking amateurs about such things. Aspectws of the planets to each other and to the rising sign and midheaven can overpower the Sun sign.
