Hi, Aries I am an Aquarius and I like your sign and have sibilings with it as well. Aries means the ram and is ruled by Mars in the 1st House of Self you are also a fire sign,a cardinal, and positive sign as well. This all contributes along with other things to your personality. Aries is known to be very forceful and competitive to is why you are represented by a ram which butts heads. Aries can be very passionate, adventurous, fun, likeable, impulsive, aggresive, and charming to others. As a fire sign you like power and can be hot tempered but you forgive easily as well. Fire gets along with air like aquarius, gemini, and libra (libra is you opposite sign which attract and clash). Other fire signs are sagittarius and leo and you like them too. All fire signs like adventure and freedom so you don't like others tring to dominate you. Cardinal signs are between fixed and mutable which means you can change but only if you want to in views and the way you act (cardinal means hinge which swings either way). Mars govers fights, power, and passion so you maybe the one who wins fights or any type of sports. You are definatly no push over you usually will do the pushing if it comes to it. The 1st house of Self means you are not afraid to be yourself and don't care what others think, to is why aries attract a lot of friends. Being postive mean you are positive about things like fun over dullness and forgiving over keeping a grudge. You also have bad traits though but who doesn't aries can be selfcentered at times (your house) and way to proud if you feel threatend so it can lead you to tell off others and not afraid to start fights. Your passion for others can be strong, and you like to put it in to everything to lead to success. Over all you can be fun and talkative towards others and not pushy. Aries I know tend to be slow to anger, but once they are it is best to walk away. I never really believed in astrology either until I read my traits one big one of mine is unemotion and the dislike of being touched, but I talk a lot and like learning from others. Guess what? Aquarius do exactly what I said and I didn't know that and have been like this for years. I also was supposed to be an aries, but I was born early in January, and still show traits of an aquarius. So astrology is wierd, but has truth to it. Tell me if I ball parked your personality! If you are a cusp (day or so away from being a pisces or taurus) or have a negative rising sign this might not be you entirely, because those other traits are shared.

Funny cause I was going to say first that Aries really don't usually believe in Astrology, but...Aries are strong, independent acheivers who like to be first in everything. They like competition- are real flirts but truly faithful and honest always to themselves- if it isn't right they won't do it.
I don't know anything about you personally. There is a difference between reading your or someone else's horoscope and living by it word for word. Once thousands of years ago these interesting ideas were the basis for religions that have evolved greatly. But I personally believe that since our bodies are made largely of water and energy that we are affected by the earth's changes. My mother is an Aries....3/28. I have noticed some similarities between the average back of a newspaper horoscope generalizations and her ways. she's headstrong, and you've got to have a good point if she's going to HONESTLY agree with you but she'll let you go on with your speech if she's interested before she jumps in to prove she's right. My dad is a Taurus...5/13. He is Bullheaded and has the tendency to fit in textbook fashion to those general ideas about the Taurus personality. Even though he acts like hes right hes really sensitive to opinions. REALLY sensitive sometimes. I've got a few friends who are Tauruses who act very similarly but my point is if you are curious about whether to "believe" or not...it's not divine intervention. If you are actually curious enough to pay 20 bucks for a chart reading you'd see that the place, time and year you were born indicates where each and every planet and star were in the sky exactly when you arrived on this earth. So just one facet of this is your "sun sign" or Aries, the place where te sun was when you were born determines this and many many other people were born all over the world on the same day so of course the generalization of a cheesy horoscope is going to fit in someplace. But there are actuially very many other factors involved if you care to get into the whole deal. I'm a cancer but my moon is in capricorn and Jupiter was in Virgo the day of my birth. According to thousands-of-year-old myths about the planets and the gods they were named after this means for me that I am way too moody sometimes, care enough about what people feel and think that I sit on yahoo answers giving dissertations on horoscopes(cancer), yet I have a tendency to try to make everything I do be a certain way based on my own values and not solely on what I was taught as a child(capricorn), yet I also have a tendency to be reserved and organised in my own way about how I handle relationships with people i care about and with new people.(virgo)....all this could amount to a bunch of squat in terms of real life BUT it's really interesting to see how many similarities there are once you get to the point where you know what your horoscope is going to tell you before you read it. It's glorified intuition but oh, it's so much fun :)
