Signs we're approaching the Age of Aquarius?!
Question: I had an inspiration from my previous question. Well I was thinking about this before but seems the recent centuries we've been seeing glimpses of the new Age of Aqarius.
Some events are:
French Revolution. Rebellion is an apect of Uranus and starting an honest and humanitarian society is an Aquarius trait.
Inveniton of electricity. Electricity is ruled by Aquarius definately. The mad scientist. The inventor.
New gadgets. Just like the above, the birth of new inventions.
Birth of New Thought, Neo- Paganism, New Age. The past couple of centuries we've had a birth or better said "revival" of old yet mystical spiritual practices. Where religion and blind faith is ruled by pisces, spirituality and higher truth and the SEEKING of higher truth and understanding beyond the confines of ego is an aquarius trait nevetheless. Also to point out that these are unconventional practices that many people think are crazy.
The age of music maybe. Aquarius do love music and sound.

Depends of which type of comunication your speaking off... the simplest type is ruled by geminis, aka mercury, which is, talking and exchanging information, like i said, in gemini age, we only learned how to do commerce, we also learned the wheel. The widest part, aka internet, tv, phones (mostly associated wrongly to geminis) or anything associated to tecnology is ruled by aquarians, which is why aquarians ARE THE HIGHER OCTAVE OF MERCURY... :P
Notice that pisces, which has the "universal love" is the higher octave of venus :P
Eccentricity, that is a wide subject... its still ruled by aquarians but any air or fire sign can have it, it just depends of where Uranus hits, which signs some of your planets are placed in... which house it hits... etc... its a wide subject... think of it like this... i have a capricorn Uranus opposing Jupiter cancer, albert einstein had that same aspect (in his case, it was a virgo uranus, opposing a pisces jupiter, i think)... notice that his thoughts were never accepted by the society (in his life time) and were always considered, eccentric... well i have that problem as well, rarely i see them accepted... :P
I also have my mercury opposing Jupiter xD, dunno where that hits... maybe it just enforces "thoughts not accepted"
BTW: the french revolution started by the leo napoleon, was done during a pluto in aquarius opposing a leo Uranus we also had neptune in libra trining over pluto, so you can see what fight it happened... boundaries/control vs freedom of speach... or close to such with a need of a better life, or a better dream (neptune)...
we have a new aquarius pluto coming up in 16 years... get ready, expect rebellions and revolutions by then and new ages of freedom of speach...
Nah... music is ruled by libras, leos, pisces... music age, 80s... happened during a libra pluto..., the fall of the soviet union happened during a scorpio pluto... war vs iraq happened in a sadge pluto (fight for the higher mind)
now we have a capricorn pluto... what can we expect? :/
Edit: i just thought of something... the higher octave of Uranus is scorpio... but its not for being eccentric... its for having "dangerous and extreme knowledge"... :P

Everything you see around you is aquarian and leo doings (well not everything, but most of the things)... would you like to go back to middle ages?... if you do, feel free... we dont mind ;)
Pluto in aquarius could also mean the end of discrimination and over evaluation, end of self judge, now that i would love to see...
I disagree on one thing with you aquarius... higher thoughs are sadge aspect... not aquarius...... notice that Jupiter is sadges ruler... anything associated with jupiter may mean higher mind... maybe genius if associated to uranus (well i have that as an opposition)?... :/
the telephone, internet, and communication is actually ruled by mercury, not uranus... so therefore that rules gemini... but yes electricity, high technology and genius stuff like that rules aquarius.
New thought such as neo-paganism and new age spiritual practices is definitely Pisces as I think about it, but the high tech innovations and new ways of thinking is more aquarius. I will agree with that.
one weird thing about this is, that I have never met an aquarius that met these qualifications as eccentric or genius, yet i see libras that do to a T, and even a few gems and scorpios..

edit: No, communication is definitely mercury. Mercury is known as the messenger of the zodiac and rules all forms of communications, electronic and otherwise. Uranus, your ruler is supposed to be other technolgy and electricity. U can even look it up if you don't believe me.
Also higher "truths" makes me think of sagittarius actually, because they're about philosophy and spirituality.

if you havent noticed aquarius is the least gregarious of the air signs.
EDIT: but detachment doesnt mean isolation, your not so smart for an aquarius after all, you almost start to sound like a self righteous leo, do you have leo in your chart?

From what I have heard and read, the Age of Aquarius timeframe varies...but the general concepts are the same. This article link below I found very informative.
