Sun and moon in virgo. leo rising... my personality confuses me?!
Question: i recently found interest in horoscopes.... and according to a free reading i took i'm a sun and moon in virgo, a leo rising, and it highlighted venus in second house, saturn in fifth house.
i understood the reading, however, i find my personality rather inconsistent.
i love people, socializing, and talking. however, i can be antisocial, have mood swings and keep to myself. i'm very disorganized and messy. i'm very quick tempered and the smallest things bother me. i bore very easily. at times i can be vain and materialistic. i like attention and i love freedom. i HATE being controlled.
i'm also attracted to a gemini male, but i'm afraid to tell him so. can anyone help me understand who i am lol.
i'm a college freshman, just trying to understand myself. please and thanx.

I can see why you are confused. :) Virgo and Leo are very different signs.
I know a lot of people who are totally dominated by their rising sign. For example, I have a good friend who is a Pisces and has almost *every* major planet in Pisces, yet he's a neat-freak, engineer type because he is a Virgo Rising.
Leo is a very powerful sign to have as a rising sign, and it sounds like much of your personality comes from there, even though you have significant Virgo influence in your chart.
My Saturn is in the fifth house as well. That simply means that we don't allow ourselves to have as much fun as we could all the time. Saturn is a bit of a "damper" planet, but also helps us learn some lessons as well.
So here's my guess on what's going on with your personality: you have a lot of influence that is trying to keep you from going too "wild" socially (the down-to-earth Virgo influence and the 5th house Saturn)... and that's in conflict with your Rising Sign (which is the sign that most of us project to the world). Leo is a fun, social, vain, materialistic, attention-grabbing, free sign. (I say that as someone who LOVES Leos...lol.... never met one I didn't get along with... ;)
That also explains the attraction to the Gemini, BTW. Gemini and Leo are compatible. Virgos and Geminis usually aren't. ;)
My advice is to try to embrace your Virgo side a bit more. I know that's hard since Leo is such a dominant sign, but my guess is that once you can balance them a bit more, you will be a little less confused.

I don't take the horoscopes seriously, because what they doesn't have to be true for sure. I believe that live your life the way you want, and only what is destined to happen will take place. If you have to die, then you will. Like, I just had a really big car accident yesterday on the ramp of the highway. There were three of us in the car. Everyone is hurt, but we survived. It's a miracle and a destiny. We weren't destined to die this soon, so we didn't.
Yeah my chart is like yours but reversed. I'm sun in Leo with Virgo rising. I'm a perfectionist and shy around people but at the same time love the limelight and to dominate people. Being a Virgo isn't bad. My Dad and I have a theory that they're the sign that people generally like the most. I find I can be funny because of my critical side. For liking the Gemini male, it's normal to be scared of telling him your feelings, just wait for the right moment. Keep in mind that Geminis need their space and hate to be nagged ( my Dad's a Gemini).
