Question: there are people with the ability to see things others can't most scammers will tell you what they know you want to hear usually asking generic questions, someone who can really do it will tell you not to say anything they can pick it up on their own.

they are very astute observers of human reactions and pick up on subtle comments or remarks made by the person as they talk to them....as any good con man does....or any good manager.....being able to read people and being a good judge of what type of person you are talking to is a hallmark of all three types of individuals.
it's just that only one of them is a legitimate occupation and the other two are scammers and con men......common criminals
Being a Psychic doesn't mean that he/she knows everything in General.
Some Psychic abilities are divided into certain categories.
Like eg.
Guy A is able to see one's future but isn't able to see the past.
Guy B is able to see the past but not the future.
Guy C is able to SENSE things but is not able to predict the future and the past.
And the list continues.

Psychics are real & it is a real ability.
People doubt psychics for many reasons, from religion to being closed minded with many reasons in between.
Psychics know what they know as they spend years,often decades developing their abilities so that they can be used for others.

Unless you use strict scientific testing, you can not know. This is where "psychics" NEED science, if only to prevent any self-deception.
If i claim to be a psychic, you have the choice to "believe" or not. If you do, it is based on my say-so. I do not have to provide any evidence of my "powers". You are the one taking the chance that I maybe a scammer and feed on the gullible.
But, imagine if someone was "scientifically verified" by independent testers. That I have certifications that I have gone under testing for accuracy and passed them. This is what you would want if you are purchasing a product or a service. You spend the money. Do you want the best or will you take a chance?
Of course no psychic will allow themselves to be tested. If psychic ability is confirmed it would be one of the greatest events in history. It would destroy all known laws of physics.
Psychics would be in big demand for large companies and be paid very high wages. But there are no want ads in the papers for them. There would be no more lotteries and gambling. Las Vegas would be shut down. But this has not happened. No more need for court trials, hire psychic to find those that are guilty. That has not happened either.
If psychics did exist, our world will not be as it is now.
