Sagittarians, do you always tell the truth?!
Question: my buddy is always telling his girlfriend that she's pretty. she still have doubts about it. she keeps asking "do sags mean it when they say your pretty or are they just flirting by giving compliments?"

Most of the time, yes!
It's easy to tell if a sag tells the truth.
First: if a sag says s(he) loves you, that you're great, you're good looking... or anything that is sweet to you.., They DO mean it.
If I were to tell someone whom I don't like that "I like you soo much!" then I'd have to kill myself!! LOL
Second: If a Sag tells you bad or negative things about you.. meaning s(he) really mean it too! If they tell you like it is, there's only one reason is that they wanna be honest with you and they do it for your own good. They prolly really care about you.
Third: If a Sag isn't very sure about his/her words.. kinda like "well, I am not sure, I don't know.., Things could get better, you can do it better.. (despite being straight forward and say "you are good! your the best!!) then... they prolly lie to you by not being too honest, blunt and perhaps don't wanna sound to harsh. This could be they don't know you so well, they are afraid o hurt you.. and perhaps you are a sensitive type of person.
In conclusion, anyone can lie..and it's not about what you say, it is about how you say it.
Sagittarius love changes and freedom. They may go from one flower to the next but one thing they can brag about. They are very honest and definitely not liars by a long stretcccccch.
When they say you are ugly or pretty, they will be blunt and will not beat around the bush.
no. sag can be blunt, AND they can also lie when they want too.
most of the time yes... though its very easy to lie. being able to tell the blunt truth comes in handy i think when you need a good lie.

You can't just generalize like that about a whole sun sign. Maybe some Sagittariuses tend to be more "brutally honest" than most others, but I wouldn't call ALL Saggies liars.
