It sounds like you're trying to use astrology to "read" a guy. To find out what he's looking for in a woman, why don't you try to get to know him personally. What's wrong with going out on some dates and stuff to see if you're even compatible or if he wants to be involved with you long term?

Here's a gigantic clue, guys grow and change and look for different things in and from women and "relationships" as they grow and change. It will depend on lots of things and you may be spending too much time looking at his chart while someone else is looking into the guy himself.

Put the horoscope down and find out who this guy is in person instead of on paper, so to speak.

Yes, these 2 positions in themselves represent a dichotomy, which appear conflicting and confusing to others in many ways.

On one hand, the type of partner he sees himself ending up with in the long run, the mother of his children are reflected by the Moon in Scorpio position. He will eventually need a woman who is strong-willed, intense and emotionally deep/sensitive. Only then will be innermost emotional desires be fulfilled satisfactorily.

On the other hand, he is often attracted to those who are unconventional, unconformist, eccentric, or just plain different by social standards...

For an individual whose Moon forms a square aspect with Venus, he needs one thing but is attracted to something else and find it difficult to reconcile the two. He is thus apprehensive about forming close emotional ties because he is also aware of the responsibility they bring and the consequnces of his actions.

This aspect doesn't make him reject companionship, but instead he forms connections that are not desirable or for some reason not workable.

It may be advisable for him to be independent for some time until he has learned to understand people and have an accurate sense of their motives. A sense of self-awareness should be cultivated before entering into a binding commitment, or it would result in a push-pull kind of effect on the partnership, which could be frustrating and confusing for both parties involved.

Exactly what astrolad said above. I have Moon in pisces and Venus in Gemini , so its basically a square between an air sign and a water sign . Yeah I normally form relationships that are not workable and undesirable . Push-Pull is my style. I tend to draw them close , become all attached and warm then I detach and become cold....Its exhausting sometimes.....
