Sometimes I'm very inmature and sometimes I find myself acting like a child, thanks my capricorn ascendant no one see me as childlike, but yeah that's true. I've seen many geminis boys and girls that like playing child games or are inmature in some situations.
i'm a gemini and everybody says that i am too old for my age. everybody calls me mother. so i don't think i'm childlike

perhaps its because we're born right before the start of summer, and summer is associated with summer break --> vacation--> school vacations--> childhood, and playing around?
I'm not a gemini, but my brother is, along with a couple others I've dealt with. I would think the reason they call geminis childlike possibly could be related to their inquisitive-ness about everything. They have a mind that needs new information constantly, and since children are young and are still learning about the world, this could be one reason why Geminis are truly considered to be like children, regardless of their age.
Another reason why Geminis are considered childlike is because they never seem to age. Their beauty seems to always have a sort of "child at heart" glow behind everything that they do. As old as they may get, they always seem younger than they really are.
And finally, why geminis are called childlike, (due to my own observations), seems to be that they have constant mood swings, or as astrologists like to call them, they are "fickle". One minute, they are happy go lucky, and the next they are off being sad, depressed or angry about something. Since their moods are constantly changing, they can be considered childlike, since children are easily quieted down when crying or how they easily become upset when something does not go their way.
