A grand trine is defined as a situation when three planets or other points in a star chart are located within 120 degrees.
When plotted, the grand trine is a triangle across the chart. (Some astrologers only consider fire signs as a Grand Trine.)
This is considered a very special and rare occurrence in a personal chart, and signifies an intensification of the characters of the included planets..with a water grand trine, one could see an increase of psychic ability, abilities to empathetically align with other people, stronger forces of emotion, deep creativity, and sometimes healing abilities.
