My last girlfriend was an Aries and I'm a pisces. True to the horoscopes, she was aggressive and actually chased me but turned shy when I turned the heat on, go figure.

She was stubborn and not the brightest of characters but she was loving (as well as guarded). Once we got to know each other though, something felt right. I understood that she was an impulsive decision maker and she liked my sensitivity. At the same time, it came to point where she couldn't understand that I had my own life and that's where things fell apart.

Interaction-wise, we were great. I turned this stubborn, impulsive woman into a more relaxed, analytical person. At the same time, she kind of forced me to become more aggressive as well.

Sex was great too, she was a freak. Physically and mentally, it's a good match. Ultimately however, you need to set your ground rules.

Aries & Pisces
Pisces has a fleeting and almost solitary spirit which may provoke the Aries authoritarian tendencies, and the two signs do not soothe each other. Pisces readily submits to domination, since he or she is awash in an inner world where reality has little effect. The vitality of Aries provides needed security. The couple will function if the Ram surrounds the Pisces with constant affection. If not, the Fish will spawn elsewhere, without even turning around for a final farewell.

I'm an Aries and my ex boyfriend was a pisces...Ugg....and my ex huband was a Gemini-Two faced....go for a Leo,Sagittarius...

Sun signs tell only a small part of the relationship dynamics. Tight aspects between other planets play a very important role. e.g. a tight Sun-Mars opposition leads to a lot of fighting.. See Linda Goodman's "Relationship Signs" for that. Then, the renowned Indian astrology has a basic notion of compatibility based on mars' position. The condition is called manglik(or kuja dosha), it negatively affects a person's relationships unless he/she is with another manglik person. This is found to be quite true in practice.

an aries and a pisces do not go well together for the simple fact there both big headed about there opinions, they will always bump heads no matter what

I'm an Aries woman and would never want to date a Pisces man. From the pisces that I know, they're not motivated enough for me. They have big dreams but usually don't apply themselves and go after their dreams. They float/swim all day and life will easilty pass them by.

They make for good friends because they are loyal and fun but that's where it stops for me.

For Aries: Sexually this is not a bad alliance, but your temperaments are just so different that it does put a strain on the relationship. You could never handle the Fishes emotional whims for any length of time.

For Pisces: You are far too sensitive for the aggressive Ram. You will be left behind to drown in your sorrows. An unfortunate match.

Personality differences compliment each other. Aries like to lead and Pisces likes to be lead. Aries is self assured and will draw Pisces out of his or her shell. Pisces likes Aries boldness and Aries likes Pisces need for direction. Aries tendency to criticize will not sit well with Pisces. Pisces likes Aries passion and Aries likes the affection given by Pisces. Pisces is drawn to Aires’ dynamic passions. Aries will handle decisions and fight battles for Pisces, which is just what Pisces is looking for. Aries may be too critical for Pisces and if tact can be found this will be a good pairing.
