Saturn was in capricorn from Novemeber 18th of 1988 until February 7th of 1991. It was, for a brief period, in capricorn from Feb to mid-june of '88 as well. This is the most recent time saturn was in capricorn (happened from '59 until '62 as well). As you can see saturn stays in a sign for roughly 3-4 years. It doesn't affect individuals as much in terms of the sign it's in. It is one of the outer planets. Look at the whole chart (well charts in this case) and mainly, look at some transits and progressed charts for your answer. See when a good time to talk things out might be, then....talk things out.
I wonder if either one of you or both of you have an emphasis on fixed signs in your charts? (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius). It would account for the stubborn refusal to speak to each other.
