If Astrology is true...does that mean that there is fate??!

Question: and is a person who studies their chart able to see what will happen in general in their lifetime?

can they determine how long they will live and what they will die because of?

Thanks for your answers!

well I do believe in fate, but i also believe that we make our own fate.

would you consider fate if it was already a choice that we already knew what were gonna choose only we havent had the opportunity yet? does someone predicting your fate and you knowing it will change anything?

I believe you have a fate, but in a sense that its a choice, and youll only recognize it if you made the right or wrong choices.
let Astrology guide you, not rule you.
if our future was already absolute, then what are we doing here acting it out.

its a BIG question, this is just my opinion

I look at it like this.. if my horoscope says I'm going to have a bad day and am prone to impulsive behavior. I take that as a warning and am more aware of how I react to a bad situation. And this usually offsets what "could" happen if I wasn't prepared.

i beleave in fate i think the pathes you take in life are already set out for you

It's sort of like the weather men using geology to predict the weather conditions. If they tell you that it's going to rain heavily, do you prepare for it? If they say that we can expect 2 feet of snow, do you prepare for a day at the beach? Astrology is a tool. You can use it for your benefit or you can ignore it...and have the same results as the guy at the beach with 2 feet of snow. It's up to you. No one says you have to "believe" in Astrology.

You think?
Most astrologers are fatalists.. if they aren't they soon will be when they start predicting.

If we have free will, then astrology is useless. It seems to work because believers need it to work. Why enslave your mind to the unproved? Try believing it dosen't work and that you can take control of your own life.

I'm fairly new to astrology but my partner isn't. He has told me it is possible to determine the date and cause of death from a horoscope, but it's not something he's studied.

As to astrology and 'fate'? HUGE subject. I have this book
http://www.amazon.com/Astrology-Fate-Liz...
which is very highly recommended.

"Free will" does not contradict astrology, because any choice we make is not totally random; we make a choice based on our psychology, which (I believe) is represented by 'the stars'.
