I am very tempted to say something along the lines of 'Indeed, people are rushing to express a load of poorly-thought out opinions, with great passion' !!

There IS a relationship with medical and psychological astrology, because we are approaching a full moon AND are entering the first sign of the Zodiac (Aries). The astronomical implications have been mentioned above, and of course astronomy and astrology go hand-in-hand.

Re medical astrology, Aries is associated with the head/brain (thus psychological symptoms are marked).

Re psychological astrology :

Jupiter (expansion) is sextile Mercury ('brain' matters of intellect and communication).

Mercury is trine Mars (impulsiveness, energy, war). Mars is the planet associated with Aries.

The Sun is
a) square Mars
b) square Pluto (passion, extremes, destruction followed by rebirth).

Mercury is currently opposite the Moon (emotions) and Saturn (a 'malefic' planet, the 'teacher').

The Moon is sextile Mars and Saturn.

A full moon exerts an extreme of gravity on the seas (and fluid around/in the brain aka cerebral edema), which affects the weather (NB tides).

It's all connected, with a scientific explanation. (Eg search Medline for raw medical data rather than mis-interpreting wiki 'folklore' entries.)

Ax
.

i'd love to know! i've had a short fuse lately and ben very moody and quite upset . . . :(

It's not astrology, but it could have something to do with the lunar positioning which could effect the magnetic pull on the earth effecting increased cerebral edema in all humans which can increase irritability and cause irrational behavior.

The spring equinox this year is swiftly followed by a full moon and this means big shake ups in a lot of peoples lives. Good or bad, major changes are about to occur and you could be sensitive and picking up on this.

Remember those brave resolutions that you made in January? If you haven't had total success in your effort to give (or take) up a habit... here's another chance. On Thursday, we reach the equinox - the point of the year when the days and nights are of equal length. It's also when the Sun moves into Aries and astrological New Year begins. Then, on Friday night, there's a potent Full Moon. That's a clear sign that, if you truly desire a big change in the way you lead your life, you have every chance in the world of managing to make it happen.

I've noticed that too.. I've been so weird. =/ Weirder than usual I mean. So's everyone else. Very weird.
It probably has something to do with the weather. It's been all rainy and stuff. Which (in my case, anyway) is weird since I love rain... Ah well.

I'm not sure astrology can explain that.
