How important is the rat in the zodiac?!

Because it was chosen by the Jade Emperor in order to race to the finish line.
Those animals were selected to aid the people year by year. Every year, the Chinese Zodiac changes and the chosen Zodiac for that year will like... Guard the whole year round, effecting the other Chinese Zodiacs too.
And the Rat is known for over-working. Hence, it comes out at night to steal the food from the kitchen. XD But it also depends on what kind of a Rat that person it. What I mentioned earlier was just something in General.
It's the first sign of the Chinese zodiac!
And we rats are....awesome.
