Yes, you will get into Penn State.. You will have to earn your way into the main Campus though.. I say take on an extracricular activity and have some fun.. You will get a job off campus maybe at a local coffee shop..By the way you wont met anyone entirley sincer like your old high school friend until May.. It will be a fling don't get to wrapped up!! Do some activities thats the only way you'll stay on main campus!!
I'm not a psycic but your unhappy because you dont have a job yet your uncertain in your life because your still young and your going through normal everyday stuff, i'm 10 years older than you, been there done that. The guy thing please girl dont even worry about that its the last thing that should be on your mind, since your worried about getting into this school you applied for. Make sure to study and keep doing what your doing if your grades are above everyone elses. The job thing continue to check on it give them a call back in a few days after you put in the application if they didnt call you to see if they still need the help.
Also with the guy thing if he's acting strange its because he may like you but you shouldnt worry about that just yet. Make sure you know where your going and what your doing if you dont find that out first before you bring someone else into your life. There are tons of guys out there.
About you getting hurt over things, its called hormones :P if it continues on a daily basis go see a counsler they can help you talk about problems that make you upset or hurt you and maybe even help you get onto something that will make you a little more receptive to everyday life.
Your growing up and realizing that you arent a child anymore and not quite an adult yet, life is tough but you can get through it.

Now, to answer your question; I cannot tell you your future. However, most of it is in your hands. You can up your grades by studying harder. You can get the job you applied for if you are found worthy enough by the ones who interviewed you. You will have a relationship if you allow yourself to have one.
And why do you think that relationship will be with the subject of your fascination? Obviously if you two aren't in a relationship yet it ISN'T going to happen. And you're only getting hurt because you allow yourself to get hurt.
