You need the time of day (and the place of birth) to calculate your rising sign. That is the sign that rises on the horizon at your time of birth. Because the earth turns a full 360° in one day, and roughly the eastern horizon spends 1.30-3 hours in one sign, 0.30 at the least, it is important to know your time of birth to establish which sign was rising on the horizon.

This rising sign tells you people's first impression of you; regardless of what your sign is, people's first impression will usually be the same as the characteristics of your rising sign.

Of course, depending on how their chart interacts with yours, but that's a different story.

Well if you want to calcualte ur birth chart you have to know the correct time date of birth and place of birth to know where you sun sign is placed and where ur ascendant is and the sign your moon was in also, and it also shows the different aspects in ur chart. And don;t take astrology personally it's just out of fun and nonsense.
