i think its a bit ridiculous that some say that all months have about equal amount of births. i simply dont buy it. set in many factors and you can come to the conclusion that every month is uneven. globally speaking, i am very sure things are uneven! birth rates vary greatly!
from what ive researched and various sources i saw long ago, i read that Leo, Virgo, Libra and perhaps Scorpio tend to be more common in the northern hemisphere (with Virgo and Libra being perhaps the most common of all those, and i would agree), and for one of the least common signs i believe it was Taurus from what i vaguely remember. i forgot about the southern hemisphere, maybe Pisces is more common??
I don't think anybody count them, but there are probably just as many Aries as Gemini or Capricorns :)

There was an statistical article I read a while ago, it said more births happen on October the 5th. So I guess its Libra . But I have seen a lot Gemini in my life too.

More people are born under the spring and summer signs,with Cancer the most. The least are the winter signs with Sagittarius the least.
There's probably a relation to when people..."mate" to the amount of certain horoscopes.
It varies year to year to year. And yes it matters. Years when there are major wars, major disasaters, more children are born to replace those who have died.
i've met alot of aries.
and i barely ever meet any cancers.
