i think it's probably because tropical astrology is becoming more of a theory than a practicality.

i've also had the same problem with tropical astrology; such a dark dark individual, scorpio moon is, especially when square-aspected with aquarius sun/mercury/venus/jupiter... or whatever. i've read so much about the aspects, and they all paint such a dark picture for me, and in reality, i am not that dark. so i would get confused and slightly depressed, wondering if i was supposed to feel that much of a turmoil, especially when i didn't see the reason for it.

i came across western sidereal astrology not too long ago, along with vedic astrology. the theories are slightly different (like the moon is what you portray to people rather than the sun), and i was no longer aquarius sun, but capricorn sun... (the descriptions do differ for the sidereal signs)... which disturbed me a bit, but then i realized it fit me better in terms of personality, and i could understand to an extent why i acted more like a tropical libra sun in front of my friends than a tropical scorpio moon/ascendant, and why my taurean & capricorn friends (who are aries & sagittarius) never believed in astrology, and they all made a lot more sense; the descriptions actually seemed to fit more.

i suggest you research about sidereal astrology and see if it's almost more fitting for you. there aren't many resources and i'm still much a beginner in sidereal compared to my knowledge in tropical astrology, but i'm pretty sure that you'll find your case to be the same... especially since sidereal/vedic astrology actually uses the sky and the location of the stars in respect to the earth's tilt.

I think horoscopes are a bunch of baloney. Thats why they're usually classified in the entertainment section of the news.

You can go to a hundred different websites and publications where you will get a hundred different horoscopes. Lack of any consistency is a major flaw for astrology. If true, it should work regardless of personal belief.

Edit: Of course there is no standard or grading for astrologers. Dealing with any dot.com will be risky. It's a business based on belief with no money back guarantees.

Newspaper horoscopes have nothing to do with real astrology. It has nothing to do with faith. You can get a free chart and a basic reading at astro.com. You will need your time and place of birth in addition to your birthdate. Click on "Free Charts". Don't spend any money there cause the guy who runs it is a real jerk.
