ASTROLADY..Do you believe in Good & Evil?!
Question: Do you believe that humans are "preset" to be either "good" or "evil"? For example, positive/negatives forces in the universe? I am a "Vir-bra", on a cusp, Sept. 23, 1976. I always feel like I'm being "pulled" in opposite directions. My sun sign is Libra (positive sign), but my moon & mercury is in Virgo. (negative sign). I feel like I want to project a sociable, friendly, carefree side to my peers, but I come across as a negative force, & I drive people away. I also tend to attract negative people, who end up being a bad influence on my life. I guess my question is "How does a negative personlearn how to attract the positive people, & seeing as I'm both, could this be why I always feel like I'm "conflicted"? I feel so confused as who or what I'm supposed to be..I. Scarily accurate..but can I change from a negative person into a "positive person".?

First of all, I do believe in the notions of Karma & reincarnation, of being born with specific lessons that your Soul has to undertake this lifetime. Hence, I don't think anyone is born with an entirely 'negative' chart...even the seemingly 'easy' harmonious ones have their own glitches. Too many easy aspects tend to make one take things for granted, hence resulting in the native being lazy or unmotivated.
Looking at your chart influences, I think the notions of 'negative' and 'positive' are a little confused with the concepts of 'evil' and 'good'. What we term 'negative' in Astrology doesn't mean bad in the traditional way; it simple means that the energies exerted are feminine, introverted and turned inwards towards oneself, as opposed to 'positive' which indicates that the energies are masculine, extroverted and outer directed towards others instead.
Naturally, being a Libra, your ego/will/inner drives WANT to portray all those qualities as mentioned but the emotional needs cannot be neglected as well, because they represent your innermost desires and needs. Now, from a karmic point of view, some astrologers think that the Moon is extremely significant.
It is good that you have taken the first step towards self-understanding through your awareness. It is essential that you learn to intergrate both conflicting parts of your psyche by accepting that you have different wants and needs. The conscious and subconscious part of you need to come to some form of agreement, compromise or you'd feel you're always short-changing yourself.
I don't think you should try to 'change' to embrace only the Libran traits because then, you will feel emotionally unhappy and unbalanced. As a Libra Sun, though you may want to keep the apparent peace, harmony, you must also realize that it's impossible to please everyone at the same time by being Ms. Nice. Eventually, you will come to feel drained by others' demands and expectations. In fact, I think your Virgo Moon/Mercury comes in useful in such a case where careful discrimination is needed - whom to put your trust in, give to etc.
The trick is to accept the fact that you have different needs which come into play at different timings. Those whom feel repelled by such energies - it is better, in the long run, to let them go if they are unable to connect with you on some deeper level. It is not worth giving up your deepest needs just to satisfy some person's superficial expectations.

You can try, but I don't think it will be easy. I'm a virgo, and I know exactly what you mean, I too seem to have a knack of attracting negative people!
I do think we do need to have evil and good people, unfortunately it's what makes the world go round.
