I've seen women with Venus conjunct Saturn feel more secure with women as lovers, where as when it is in a man's chart he is attracted to older women.
I've seen that Mutables: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces be "flexible" enough to love the person regardless of gender.
I've seen gay women's charts that have harsh aspects between the Moon or Venus to Saturn, and they have histories of bad relationships with their fathers. I feel they "defaulted" to women as opposed to being drawn to women in the first place. The women I read for agree with that assessment.
I've seen Venus square/oppose Uranus, Mars squared/opposed Neptune, give love and sex extra energy and sometimes the need to find a middle ground to get expressed.
Interesting thought about Uranus. Since it wants to rebel against the status quo, then when it was normal for men to have young boys as lovers, like in ancient Rome, it would be abnormal to be strictly hetrosexual and monogomous loving your wife.

I live in San Francisco and when the AIDs epidemic hit a lot of gay astrologers died. I found myself doing a lot of astrology work for gay and lesbian folks. I've observed it's more about the aspects than about the Sun sign that determined their choice of lovers. There's no one Sun sign that predominates, but there's a lot of aspects that wave the rainbow flag.

I dated one who suggested a three way. (A guy thing not a Sag thing, btw.) He didn't totally freak when I gave my usual response... "Sure, how about X (one of his male friends)". That has stopped the conversational in every instance BUT with him. I was the one speechless for a change.
** dee- Yeah, I guess that's true. I guess what I was thinking was really on the lines of being bisexual. I know a few Sags that fall into that catagory. A friend of mine is Virgo with Sag rising. She threw herself at me when I drove her home after she was too drunk to drive. Funny story that I won't go into.
