Question: Am I going to jail?
Will I do probation or community service?
Is my fine big?
To add: I did something very bad last Thursday and it's not really a felony, but it's on my record.
If anyone can tell me I'm willing to give 10 points to someone with a reasonable answer to my question.

If necessary can your lawyer have you do work in the community instead?

if you win the court then youll probably get money and get away with it. but if you lose you might just have to pay a fee. and if im wrong im terribly sorry. hope you get away with it this time.

It probably will be on your record, just for something less that you didn't think of, maybe a misdemeaner?
G'luck...and if you were worrying about it so much, why didn't you get a lawyer? It sounds like maybe you got into a fight? Stole something? Got a DUI? I mean we honestly can't answer your question w/out more explanation???
I would say, you may get a fine and probation. The court system would much rather have you on probation, than have to feed you in jail. Because it is their bread and butter, They get your monthly payments, and dont really have to do much for it. They would like to have everybody on probation if they could. They will use you as their cash-cow. If your crime is not violent, most likely you will get probation for, say, 18 months. sometimes jail is better, and you'll understand what I mean if you get probation. Best thing to do, is after you get finished with whatever happens to you, Just Lay low and stay out of trouble,. Dont let them get you a second time. And dont do anything to violate your probation, They will be waiting for you to do that, believe me. And that will mean some jail time, and then even more probation. It can become a vicious cycle. I have known people to just turn themselves in and do the time, because the probation was too much to take.
Oh shoplifting. Stealing does more to harm your soul than it hurts anything else. Thats bad karma, baby! dont get into that habit. Take your punishment, and think of it as pennance. It may seem petty, but any kind of stealing is offensive to the universe. Stop doing that.

Well, since you did not tell us what you did, it is difficult for us to give you a complete answer. But, since it does not sound like you did something tremendously wrong, you will most probably be fined, if the judge finds you guilty plus there are court costs plus a lawyer if you decide to hire a lawyer! I would get a job even if you are in school get a part time job! This looks good! It shows that you are in school and working too and trying to better your life! Also, even if the fine is big, the judge will let you work out a payment plan. Do not ignore the payment plan as the judge will feel insulted and angry!
These big companies like to keep prices low. Lawyers are paid to make people get the message. I see time and a fine.
girl, first of all why in the hell would u steal something out of walmart? its WALMART " extra low prices, everyday " i couldnt tell u anything astrologically speaking because im not that advance. but more than likely you'll probably just get community service
