In general, 4-5 trines is considered alot and 6 would unfortunately be "too many" in this case. Of course, don't take this as a bad, horrible thing. Too many trines indicate a lack of drive and ambition. It is hard to work for what you want. There can be too much of a feeling that life should just hand you things, like you deserve the best but don't want to "earn" it.

This goes for just this one thing. Look for stabling influences. Perhaps an earth MC, or a fair amount of square aspects. Squares and trines are pretty much opposites, as one stands for harmony and the other, conflict and challenge. Really though, earth signs, particularly capricorn, indicate drive and ambition. Also check the sun and saturn. Any harmonious aspect between these two promotes practicality and diligence.

Hope this helps!

I have 6 trines too . You should compare them with the number of hard aspects as well., also count in sextile aspects, because they are also considered good. Trine aspects of course are good , but they can make a person lazy because things normally come their way. But generall they are very good to have.

6 aren't too many. I know someone with 13 trines and he's lazy. Too much good luck making things too easy. It makes it hard for him to "work" for something.

A lot of folks say "Oh trines, how lucky!" but that good luck can make one think they can depend on luck instead of hard work. You're not going to make that mistake are you? ;-)

The trick to trines is to remember not everyone has it easy in those areas like you do. Don't expect other people to do things as easily as you do. Put some work into the areas where those trines reside and then you'll be super charged in that area. Also just because something comes easy to you doesn't devalue it. Work with it, like wind in your sails.

Trines are always a welcoming aspects in any chart - the only difrerence is in the extent of their benefit. The most beneficial trines are usually associated with those inner planets that are affecting you at the most personal & intimate levels i.e. Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars etc
If trines exist between Sun and Moon, for example, this is considered as one of the best positive indicators in a personal chart.

The trines involving the outer planets are not without their benefits too. If heavyweight planets such as Saturn, neptune, Pluto, Uranus are involved, the effect might be felt more on the level of social consciousness than personal. Trines involving inner and outer planets in a personal chart make it easier for the individual to deal with the 'karmic' lessons that many of the heavyweight planets are here to impart, by lessening the efforts to resist them. E.g. Saturn trine Moon is definitely better than Saturn square Moon, but not without its feelings of limitations as well. The native will be subconsciously, painfully aware of the responsibilities that his emotional actions ans choices make.

In a nutshell, too many trines in a chart can make an individual appear seemingly lazy and unmotivated as there is a general feeling that things will just fall into their place, as he/she starts taking the apparent good fortune for granted. Sometimes, oddly enough, difficult aspects in a chart produce seemingly magnificent results, not without a long road of struggle and obstacles of course. Nevertheless, trines are considered benefcial and the number is not as important as the planets that share this aspect and how you choose to execute the energies in the end.

All these trines are worthless if their are no focus point. The focus point are the hard aspects. Any square aspect will act as the main focal point so that the trine can express.

There is an ease of energy that makes their interaction almost invisible - that is, the native may take their gifts (or challenges) for granted.
The danger lies in the native expecting life to be easy making one lazy. Hard aspects in the chart (which most people have plenty of), such as squares and oppositions, will temper this energy with some realistic challenges that motivate the native to use their gifts constructively.

I think that is slightly above average of the amount of trines most persons have. From what I've studied and witnessed, I see trines as being similar to inherent talents or 'good luck' type of aspects. The areas involving the planets in trine will indicate where you will have an ease of success. I have Mercury trine Uranus and I find that I can understand science and math with much more ease than many other persons.

I believe you should look at all of your aspects for a good reading. For instance, the sextiles help us to learn and grow. I see sextiles as talents we need to develop. It may not have the ease of a trine, but the sextiles are the talents we build and therefore often can give more lasting pleasure than a trine.
