Mars Placement and sex drive! PLEASE ANSWER ASTROLOGERS!?!
Question: Hi, I've tried asking something like that before but never get good answers on this subject.
My Mars and Venus is in Capricorn, and I've heard that Capricorn is not a very sexy placement for Mars. I'm a Scorpio and Scorpio rising. They say that average man thinks about sex every 7 seconds, well I think about sex every 5 seconds. Believe me, I'm single and I wish I had a low sex drive but its not the case.
Can someone explain this placement:

scorpio is the sign of sex. i've never known a scorpio who didn't talk about it or at least enjoy the company of the opposite sex. Scorpio is ruled by mars (along with aries), and mars, being the planet of action, war, passion, creation and destruction, scorpios and aries the highest sex drive. I don't just believe it cuz I've read it either. Most of the guys I've lived with since I've been goin to college have been scorpios and aries or had planets in scorpio or aries. (one guy had his moon in scorpio and venus in aries and thats all he ever talked about! sadly never got any though) Its just natural you being a scorpio AND scorpio rising you would think about it a lot.

A brother of mine has his mars in this house. His mars is in leo, however, and leo is a very sexed sign except the way he expresses his sexual thoughts is through humor-the leo way of getting attention, humor LOL.
Don't feel bad. It's very healthy that you're sex drive is up to speed or faster lol. I'm a scorpio too and my mars is extremely intensified. Its at the aries point (although in pisces) and squares uranus and opposes venus). My sun is also conjunct pluto. My mars is in the 9th house, however, so my sexual energies aren't spent thinking (possibly about sex) but daydreaming about where I'm going, what I'm gonna do tomorrow and my dreams of the future. I like to travel and drive LOOOOONG distances to Vegas, Salt Lake City, Mexico and pretty much wherever. the 9house is about sports too. I get really agressive when I'm playing basketball and football. sometimes it even scares me and the ppl I play with LOL. Whenever I do play somethin, especially basketball, I like having my girlfriend to watch. My girlfriend thinks I'm sexy when I'm playin ball and I don't think I'm even that good, but I don't care lol
Advice- Don't regret having a supercharged sex drive. use your mars in the 3rd house as a tool to success. With a strong mars like yours in the 3rd house you are probably a great debater and can lead ppl with your words. If your venus is in the 3rd as well(like mine) that a double whammy. Using your powerful words to get what you want in life.
PS-when you go on a date, talk a lot, I mean A LOT. your date will probably find you more attractive since you mars is in the house of communication and you will be able to express yourself best talking.

Mars in Cap is great for career drive. It's actually the best if you are ambitious. With this placement you can "control" your sex drive which is great if you want to get yourself to the top of your choosen field. Sexually, you can be cold and frigid at times under stress, especially when you have your eye on the prize.
So, although it may appear 'unsexy' it's actually that we exude an earthy type of sensuality and supposedly Mars in Cap means at some point you may use sex to get ahead in a career..and/or have an affair with someone older than you at somepoint in your life (usually when you are younger).
If you say you are thinking about sex all the time, that's due to your Scopio sun and rising. You all are freaky. :)
There is always a cold shower that has been proved by scientists to be acurate in realising tension in life and sexual life! there is also the drink Pedialite that is serum that eases your sexual urge! if you want an astronomy explanation there isnt one! Good thing to do is to slow down and think before going out to the street doing something you would regret!!

Same case here , i'm a Scorpio man with mars in Capricorn and trust me i think about sex each single second , but i think bieng a Scorpio is an enough explanation of this strong sexual drive , i don't think mars has much to do with it.

Forget what they said about Capricorn mars. If anything, it's very sexual. I speak from experience :p - I've Scorpio sun and Capricorn mars just like you (only my rising and venus are in Sagittarius) - I too think about sex not every 5 seconds, but nearly every second. Even worse; I'm clinically a nymphomaniac.
From my experience with men with the same mars placements, I can say I have no complaints. Just as sexual - even with their sun, venus and rising in a completely different sign - and Scorpio mars too, were the only ones who were able to keep up with my sex drive. Others are usually tempted to give me a cold shower to cool me down...
Anyway, that's probably not an answer you would expect from an Astrologer. Mars in Capricorn is a very good placement. Mars is the planet of energy; force of life.
